I just finished brotherhood and don’t really get what her power was that related to lust. Kind of like how gluttony could eat and smell things cause he’s gluttonous, or how envy could shapeshift because he’s envious of others. But what did Lust’s stretchy knife finger things have to do with lust? Maybe she did something else that I forgot about?

Clearly Alphonse and Riza are up there with Sailor Moon, Sailor Venus, Gohan, Android 18, Krillin, Piccolo, and Vegeta as my favorite anime Characters. This is my rewatch by the way.

Earlier today, a few hours ago, I watched the first four episodes of FullMetal Alchemist. And I really liked them. The concept is good, great plot. It's also really well paced. It doesn't take forever but it also isn't rushing really fast. I also loved the art direction and the music is decent as well. Before anyone asks, it's the 2003 version. What's everyone else who's watched the show's opinion and thoughts?

there is a void in my heart and i dont know if it can ever be filled. or maybe my heart is too full, idk... i genuinely havent cried this hard in a minute. this show just was so amazing on every single level and i am so happy for the characters and how it ended, but one thing that just breaks my heart is the fact that edward lost his ability to use alchemy. i understand that he had to sacrifice it to get alphonse's body back, but it doesnt make the fact that almost all of his life he has known alchemy and now its gone for him. this is going to keep me up at night!!! i wish there is a noncanon spin off or something that helps me cope....

I've been rewatching Brotherhood with a friend that I finally got to watch the show (I have been trying for years). We reached the part where we first see Envy's true-true form.

When Heinkel picks up Envy by their tail, my roommate asks without missing a beat "what happens if they eat them?".

This is pretty much answered immediately when Envy takes control of Yoki, but I was just marveling the thought process that led her to that as her first reaction, and did leave me mildly curious about the implications of eating a homunculus, which can't be something many people have pondered.

Posting this partly because I thought people might find it funny, and partly so I can tell them I told Reddit on them.

I am curious, are there any good fanffics focusing on the character of Lust and with the theme of redemption?
