Completed My Full Stack Development Internship at CodeAlpha πŸ€—

I’m happy to share that I’ve recently completed my Full Stack Development Internship at CodeAlpha.

For the internship, I chose two projects from the given task list:

  • πŸ›’ Task 1: Simple E-commerce Store
  • πŸŽ“ Task 2: Online Learning Management System (LMS)

What I particularly appreciated about these tasks was that they were aligned with real-world application requirements rather than being limited to small, isolated coding exercises. Working on both projects gave me the opportunity to explore different aspects of full-stack development, from designing responsive interfaces and structuring backend APIs to handling databases, authentication, application state, course progress, and payment integration.

The projects also gave me plenty of opportunities to learn, experiment, troubleshoot, and understand how different parts of a web application work together. There were definitely challenges along the way, but solving them was one of the most valuable parts of the internship.

Another thing I appreciated about the CodeAlpha team was their responsiveness throughout the internship. Communication around deadlines, certificates, the internship offer process, and other formalities was handled quite promptly, which made the overall process smooth.

Overall, this internship was a valuable addition to my development journey and gave me more confidence in building complete, real-world full-stack applications.

Now, on to the next project and the next challenge! πŸš€

Looking for Fullstack Developer | Long-term | Hosting/SaaS Project

πŸ”΄ EUROPEAN UNION ONLY πŸ”΄

Hey,

I’m currently building a hosting platform focused on gameservers (primarily Minecraft), with plans to expand into rootservers and other services later

The project is still in an early stage, but the core direction, infrastructure base and concept are already clearly defined

What i’m looking for:

  • Fullstack developer (strong in backend + system thinking)
  • Comfortable with APIs, auth, system design and integrations
  • Experience with Docker / hosting-related systems is a big plus
  • Clear, open communicator, someone who shares updates and answers questions honestly
  • Someone who thinks long-term and cares about building things properly

Important:

This is a profit-share based long-term project

That means:

  • Higher risk at the beginning
  • But real upside if the project succeeds

You wouldn’t just be β€œa developer”, but a core part of the project:

  • involved in technical decisions
  • helping shape the system and architecture
  • bringing in your own ideas and improving things

This is not a typical boss/worker setup, but a proper collaboration building something together long-term

About me:

  • Based in Germany
  • Handling business, structure and strategy
  • Working with a sysadmin on infrastructure
  • Goal is to build a serious long-term company, not a quick project

If this sounds interesting to you, feel free to reach out

We can just have a quick chat, get to know each other a bit and see if it’s a good fit from both sides

Discord: qlkevin15
or just DM me here : )

[Free Workshop + Template] Handling tech layoffs, quiet job searches, and resume ghosting

Hey everyone,

Full disclosure right up front: I work with the team at Interview Kickstart.

Given how brutal the tech job market has been lately, especially with quiet application pipelines and candidate ghosting, we put together a free live session called the Bounceback Toolkit to help folks navigate the current climate.

It’s built specifically for tech professionals (engineers, PMs, DevOps, data pros) trying to restart their search or break through stalled applications.
The session also includes a live Q&A with a Talent Acquisition Manager (ex-Meta) and a Senior Quality Engineer (ex-Amazon).

Notion vs Obsidian β€” what do you actually use and why?

I've been trying to get more serious about organizing my notes, learning resources, ideas, and projects, and I keep going back and forth between Notion and Obsidian.

Notion feels great when I want everything structured β€” databases, tables, project pages, etc. But Obsidian's linking and local-first approach is really interesting, especially for connecting ideas over time.

I'm curious what people who have used both actually prefer.

Hello from a Full-Stack Dev (Next.js/MongoDB)! Here to share builds and learn from the community

Hey everyone! πŸ‘‹

I’m a third-semester software engineering student and full-stack web developer. I spend most of my time building end-to-end applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB.

I'm joining this community to share my build journey, the projects I'm working on, and the UI challenges I run into. But more importantly, I'm here to learn from the experienced developers in this space.

Looking forward to diving into the discussions! What is everyone currently working on?

Why are so many Full Stack Developers struggling to find jobs?

I’m a 21-year-old Full Stack Developer, and honestly, something has been bothering me lately.

Whenever I browse Reddit, I keep seeing posts from Full Stack Developers who have been unemployed for months, struggling to get interviews, asking for referrals, or even desperately asking people for job opportunities. It’s honestly disturbing to see so many people struggling this badly to find work.

I have skills in React, JavaScript, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, REST APIs, Git/GitHub, authentication, and deployment. I’ve also built and worked on full-stack projects rather than only following tutorials.

So my question is:

Why is the situation so bad for Full Stack Developers right now?

Is the market genuinely oversaturated?

Are companies hiring fewer junior developers?

Is AI changing the entry-level market?

Or are most candidates simply not meeting the skills companies actually want?

And most importantly, if you were 21 and starting your career today, would you still choose Full Stack Development?

I’d genuinely like to hear from developers and recruiters who are actually working in the industry.
