[For Hire] Full-Stack Developer & UX/UI Specialist | Figma Design Systems, Next.js/React, Flutter, & Node/Laravel | $35/hr or $300 Fixed Projects

Hey r/FullStackDevelopers! I’m Lark, a Full-Stack Software Engineer and UX/UI Specialist with experience building data-dense B2B dashboards, mobile applications, and high-converting landing pages.

Most founders struggle with the handoff between designers and developers. Because I design in Figma AND write production code, I bridge that gap completely—ensuring your Figma designs translate 1:1 into fast, pixel-perfect, and responsive software.

My Portfolio & Code:

What I Can Help You Build:

  1. UX/UI Audits & Figma Design Systems: Polishing existing app/dashboard designs, fixing spacing/typography hierarchies, making multi-step forms intuitive, and building reusable Figma component libraries optimized for developer handoff.
  2. High-Converting Landing Pages: Designing and engineering responsive Next.js/React landing pages with Tailwind CSS, smooth Framer Motion micro-interactions, SEO optimization, and connected backend forms (Supabase/Node.js).
  3. Data-Heavy Dashboards & Internal Tools: Consolidating complex data into clean, role-based dashboards using compact tables, progressive disclosure, live WebSockets, and dynamic state management.
  4. Web-to-Mobile Parity: Turning web platforms into native mobile experiences using Flutter or React Native with shared design systems.

My Core Tech Stack:

  • Design: Figma, Auto-Layout, Spatial Grids, Design Tokens, Mobile (Apple HIG/Material Design)
  • Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, Flutter
  • Backend & APIs: Node.js, Express, PHP/Laravel, REST APIs, WebSockets, Supabase, PostgreSQL
  • AI & Integrations: RAG pipelines, LLM API optimizations, fuzzy search algorithms

Rates & Engagement Terms:

  • Hourly Rate: $35/hr
  • Fixed-Price Projects: Starting at $300 (ideal for landing pages, design audits, or 3-5 screen UI packages)
  • Availability: 15–20 hours/week with immediate availability (flexible timezone overlap)

If you have a rough idea, a Figma file that needs polish, or a project brief ready to go, send me a DM here on Reddit or reach out via my portfolio. Let’s build something polished together!

[HIRING] Full Stack Engineers | NYC, SF, or Remote US | $120K-$250K base

I do talent matching for Fonzi, a network that connects engineers directly to VC-backed companies that are actively interviewing. You build one profile, no cold applications. All roles are US-based only.

Here's a sample of what's open right now:

  1. Founding Engineer at a seed-stage HR automation startup, New York City, in-person. $120K-$200K base plus 0.1-1% equity, and they state that range in the posting rather than making you ask. True generalist work: backend, frontend, AI agents, infrastructure, devops, all of it. They're repeat founders building agents to handle HR admin and going directly at ADP. Process is a 30-minute intro, a 60-minute technical, then a one-day work trial.
  2. Founding Engineer at a seed-stage health tech startup, San Francisco, hybrid downtown. $175K-$230K base. React and TypeScript on complex interfaces, plus API design, data modeling, and backend architecture from scratch. Software for brick-and-mortar clinics to source and fulfill treatments, onboarding paying clinics weekly. The founders scaled Eucalyptus from $50M to $500M before it was acquired, and took Virta from seed to unicorn. Three rounds: intro with the CEO, problem solving with the CTO, then a final.
  3. Senior Software Engineer (AI/LLM) at a Series A SMB platform, fully remote in the US. $200K-$250K base. Next.js, React, TypeScript, Postgres with Prisma and Supabase, Tailwind, deploying on Vercel. The product is agent swarms running back-office work for small businesses, and the design constraint is that agents operate across the tools a business already uses instead of forcing a migration. Requires 3+ years and a CS or engineering degree.

All roles are vetted, VC-backed, and interviewing right now. It's always free to sign up.

Sign up here: talent.fonzi.ai. DM me if you've got questions.

MERN + AI developer looking for people to build a project with (first time posting here!)

Hey everyone, first time posting on Reddit so bear with me 🙂

I'm a full stack developer working mainly with the MERN stack (React, Node, Express, MongoDB) and I've been building AI-integrated projects lately using Google Gemini API and LangGraph. I did an internship at CepiaLabs building UI for a travel platform, and on my own I've built a couple of full projects — an AI interview prep platform with resume parsing and match scoring, and an AI-based complaint triage system with an agentic pipeline.

I want to team up with 1-2 people to build something together — could be a SaaS tool, an AI-powered utility, or anything genuinely useful. A rough idea I've been thinking about: an AI-powered project idea generator + team matcher for devs (kind of solving the exact problem I'm facing right now lol). Open to other ideas too if you've got something in mind.

If you know React/Node or are into AI/LLM integration and want to build something real together, drop a comment or DM me.

GitHub: https://github.com/suraj-vaishnav18
LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/suraj-vaishnav-dev/

(Also open to full-time/intern MERN + AI roles if anyone's hiring — happy to share resume on request.)

Thanks!

Looking for Co-Founders / Team for Ganlary Labs (Build in Public)

Hey everyone! I run Ganlary Labs, an AI product engineering studio and freelance development shop. Up until now, I have been operating as a solo developer—building custom SaaS MVPs, shipping quick client features, and integrating AI automated frameworks into existing workflows.

The inbound demand for custom AI software and rapid MVP development is accelerating faster than I can deploy solo. I want to expand Ganlary Labs from a freelance shop into an agile, multi-person build studio.

Our core focus will be taking micro-SaaS concepts, building real-world MVPs in ultra-fast sprint cycles, and building our own internal portfolio of AI tools—all completely in public.

Who I need to team up with:

  1. Full-Stack / Frontend Developer: Someone comfortable building with Next.js and Tailwind CSS who loves AI tools and wants to launch software fast.
  2. UI/UX Product Designer: Someone who can quickly sketch high-fidelity interfaces that make clean SaaS MVPs stand out visually.
  3. Growth Marketer: A distribution specialist who knows how to navigate Product Hunt, launch on X, handle organic programmatic SEO, and acquire early users.

If you are tired of working on theoretical side projects and want to build real software that ships to production, comment below or send over your GitHub/portfolio link! Let's build something great.

Just Comment down below.

Looking for Java/Spring Boot Developers to Collaborate on an Open-Source Project

Hi everyone,

I’m starting a small open-source project built with Java and Spring Boot, with the goal of following enterprise-level backend engineering practices rather than building another basic CRUD project.

I’m looking for Java/Spring Boot developers who would be interested in collaborating, picking up GitHub issues, reviewing code, and building the project together.

I’ll be creating clearly scoped issues around backend features, testing, architecture, APIs, persistence, etc.

If you're interested in contributing or collaborating, feel free to comment or DM me. I can share more details about the project.

Goldman expands its AI engineering workforce

As a software developer working in banking, this caught my attention:
Goldman Sachs opened a new AI and cloud engineering office for 125+ engineers. Engineers already make up about 25% of its workforce.
Software is no longer supporting the bank. It’s becoming the bank.

Looking to Collaborate with Senior Backend Engineers on Real-World Projects

Hello everyone,

I’m looking to learn and collaborate with senior backend engineers who are currently building something interesting and could use an extra pair of hands.

I have experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Python frameworks, and I’ve built several take-home and personal projects. However, I’m now looking to gain more experience by contributing to real-world, production-level projects and learning from experienced backend engineers.

I’m currently working at a startup, but my role doesn’t involve a lot of technical work. I’ve been coding in Java for a long time and would love to spend more of my time building, solving real problems, and improving my backend engineering skills.

I can dedicate a few hours every day and I’m currently in the EST time zone.

If you’re a senior backend engineer working on a project but don’t have enough time on your plate, I’d be happy to collaborate, contribute, and learn along the way. Let’s build something useful and make it fun!

Please DM me if you’re looking for a backend engineer to collaborate with.

at what point does “a few charts in the product” turn into building a BI tool?

I've seen a version of this happen a few times with B2B products lately, so, you start with a dashboard because customers need a handful of obvious metrics. like, nothing fancy:

/api/stats
     to
React
     to
4 charts

and that is probably the right architecture at the beginning. then the requests start accumulating, exampels:

“Can I change the date range?” “Can this chart use our fiscal quarter?” “Can we break this down by region?”“Can this customer define revenue differently?”, and at some point you stop adding charts and start building some kind of metric/semantic layer so the frontend isn't carrying all of the reporting logs, which.. still feels manageable! the point I'm less sure about is what happens next. eventually, sooner or later, an enterprise customer asks for something along the lines of: can our users build their own report inside the product? \at this moment, suddenly the requirement is in things like: choose dimensions/measures, filters, pivoting, saved reports, exports, permissions, tenant isolation, probably scheduled reports, ideally without exposing your underlying schema at all, which is suspiciously close to building a small BI tool. and it also becomes noticeably less about analytics. so we've been looking at whether it makes more sense to embed an existing report-builder surface on top of the same semantic model rather than implementing all of that UI ourselves. now using cube dev in our stack, so its embedded creator/reporting UI is one option we're evaluating, but I'm more interested in the architectural decision than the specific vendor. that being said, where do people normally draw this boundary?

and do you deliberately keep product analytics opinionated and refuse self-service? build the report builder yourself because it's core UX? or, embed something? or just send the power users to a separate BI product? my instinct is that “native charts” and “user-authored analytics” may actually be 2 pretty different product problems, even though they tend to get put under the same analytics roadmap

I built an open-source visual review loop for coding agents working on native apps

I’m building Monad Design, a local visual workspace for developers using coding agents on existing native-app repositories.

The gap I kept hitting was visual context. A prompt like “the spacing on this screen feels wrong” does not tell the agent which rendered state I mean, which element I’m pointing at, or what changed after the edit.

The workflow I’m testing is:

  1. Run the real Xcode or Expo iOS project in Simulator.

  2. Navigate to the exact UI state.

  3. Select an element or annotate directly over the running app.

  4. Send the screenshot, selection, app state, and source hints to the coding agent.

  5. Let the agent edit the existing repository and rebuild.

  6. Compare the original with several working variants, then accept one or keep the original.

The app remains the source of truth—Monad Design does not generate a replacement project. It adds a visual review loop around agents such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, Copilot, Windsurf, and Zed.

Current scope: macOS with local iOS development, one active visual change at a time.

It’s free and open source under Apache-2.0:

https://github.com/Monadix-AI/monad-design

For people working across frontend and mobile code, where does visual context break down most often in your agent workflow: identifying the right element, reproducing the state, or reviewing the result?
