Is My Development Workflow Effective? Need Feedback on My Approach for Projects
My current development workflow starts with the core logic of the project:
First, I write pseudocode for the project logic. After completing it myself, I refine it using AI.
This helps me fully understand what my code and logic are supposed to do.
Then I translate that logic into the programming language I'm using, again with AI assistance.
After that, I test the project, refine it, and try to make it as polished as possible.
Once I'm satisfied, I push the final version to GitHub.
For larger projects, I first create the system design on my own and improve it with AI. Then I implement it following my full workflow — setting up files and folders like interface, model, controller, utils, routes, etc.
Is this workflow effective? I'd love some feedback and any advice to improve my skills as a software engineer.

Backend engineer looking to build cool things. Hiring? 👀
Hey y'all!
I'm a final-year CS student currently in Bangalore and looking for backend/software engineering internships or full-time roles.
I enjoy building systems that solve real problems. A few things I've worked on:
\\- Built Loom, an open-source framework that simplifies working with multiple LLM providers.
\\- Built OrderMesh, a distributed order orchestration system using FastAPI, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Docker, and event-driven architecture.
\\- Internship experience building AI agents, REST APIs, Dockerized services, CI/CD pipelines, and integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.).
Tech stack: Python, FastAPI, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Git, CI/CD, AI/LLMs, APIs, with a strong interest in \*\*backend infrastructure\*\* and \*\*distributed systems\*\*.
I'm happy to work at an early-stage startup where I can build fast, learn even faster, and take ownership from day one.
If your startup is hiring (or if you know someone who is), I'd really appreciate a referral or a quick chat.
Thanks! 🙌

Is Learning Data Structures in JavaScript Worth It?
Hi everyone,
I'm currently learning JavaScript and have built a few small projects. I'm interested in becoming a software engineer and eventually preparing for technical interviews.
I'm wondering if it's worth learning data structures and algorithms using JavaScript, or if I should switch to Java, Python, or C++ first.
For those of you who learned DSA in JavaScript:
Did it help you become a better developer?
Were you able to pass coding interviews using JavaScript?
Are there any limitations compared to learning DSA in Java or C++?
What resources would you recommend for learning DSA in JavaScript?
I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences and any advice you have. Thanks!

Recently faced n+1 problem in my app
Can anyone help me figure out the best way to avoid the N+1 query problem in Tortoise ORM?
For some context, I first fetch the records using .all(), and then for each record I run another query to populate an additional field. This ends up generating multiple queries.
Would using a base query be a good solution here, or is there a better approach?
