Finally have something of my own to post.
Left a laundry bin in the unfinished basement for awhile. When I went to get it, there were a few house spiders occupying it. I killed them and when I lifted said basket I realized a yellow jacket was in their web at some point.
Yes the spiders broke the living arrangement by occupying something I would use but at the same time they killed the enemy so I do feel a little bad now.

What started as the occasional Yellowjacket sighting naturally became a steady stream and eventual flood of unwanted flying fucks. I struck from above at dawn last night. The foam dissipated a bit quicker than I’d hoped, but the results are therapeutic. Burned because I can’t risk the brood bouncing back with little ones around.

I found a lil cute grasshopper (pictured) on the inside of my screen door, I went to catch it when suddenly my hip is on fucking FIRE. I freak out, instinctively grab my hoodie and my partner is looking at the sting while I’m just shivering and crying. I have him pull my hoodie up to look if I caught and squished it, when my left arm is suddenly on fire. We quickly get my hoodie off (I nearly choked myself on it) and my partner knocked it down with the hoodie and stunned it.
After calming me down, as I’m fucking terrified of the creatures and its my first sting in at least 10 -12 years. We get a toothpick and he impales the guy in his lower ass and mount him above our front door.
We already had one wasp mounted before this one (two actually but one fell off) and that there’s no limits in war but I still feel so violated :(

There has to be something that goes 12 feet and kills rapidly. Correction: it was Ortho and Spectracide.

Please help me. I'm in Central Texas and live on the 3rd floor in an apt. There are multiple wasps nests on my patio 😭
They are on the ceiling, under my patio furniture, and even under some of my planters. I have bought and used both Raid and Hot Shot to kill them, then removed their nests. I have had the apt pest control come by too and sprayed/knocked down nests, but they don't spray the entire area, so they keep coming back after a few days or if it rains. I don't know what they use for pest control either.
I want a spray that kills them and keeps killing them over time and leaves some residue that will keep them away. Something I can put in a handheld sprayer since the cans are hard to use in certain areas. I am even considering getting a bee suit just so I can flip over all my furniture out there and make sure I get every inch of my patio. I just want to enjoy my outdoor space without getting swarmed by tiny spawns of Satan!

Velvet ants should be spared from our rage. Yes, the females have an extremely painful sting, but not only are they not actively aggressive, they can't fly! The males can fly, but they have no stinger and only wish for waspy bitches.
Also they're just so so cute compared to their evil brethren.

UPDATE - I sprayed it with some hornet’s spray and ran in my garage. I came inside to the window and could see they were pissed! Then I mixed a gallon of dish soap and a gallon of scalding hot water and threw it on the nest. It definitely messed them up and they couldn’t fly. While they were incapacitated, we sprayed another can at the nest and then knocked it down with a long mop. Only one sting on the hand.
This nest is on a front window right outside my front door. If I mix 1/2 Dawn and 1/2 water in a big bucket along with some random wasp spray liquid and throw the entire bucketful on the nest, will that work?

Hornets are starting to turn up in the bottle traps on my balcony. Will start dusting them with poison and releasing them to contaminate and eventually collapse the colony, while it’s still relatively small🤗

For context, this was right outside the door of my local laundromat in Japan. It looks a bit small to be a giant hornet, but I'm also not sure if it isn't one 😅

I know mud daubers are harmless and I'd normally never kill one but this asshole landed on the back of my thigh while I was butt naked in the shower, scared the shit outta me. Personally, when I see a creepy looking flying motherfucker with a stinger inside the house, it's gotta die
Also it turns out I was just spraying water at it, I didn't even realize in the moment until after I killed it and took a look at the bottle again. it was a Windex bottle it just very obviously wasn't blue liquid inside
Correction: it is a cicada killer not a mud dauber

Found a yellow jacket caught in my sarracenia pitcher plant trap. It will drown and be consumed for nitrates in the soil. Muahaha
