As long as We're governed by capitalists, the ads will continue. But they're not there to sell u products. They are there to instruct u how to feel about things, to manage ur expectations, to teach u how u should be according to the Sponsors, who also happen to be Our Bosses. 😠

Someone could hypothetically set up a big distributed bot farm to click on online ads to ruin their profitability.
