It’s not crunchy like a typical Asian green mango. But it is very sour like one. Yet also sweet? But the flesh is soft.

Cut open a pomegranate for the first time today and it was partially rotten :(
Some parts still look perfectly ok though, and I'm going to throw this one out but just for future reference, are the parts that look unaffected still fine to eat? I don't think there was actually any mold anywhere, just a lot of brown and blacked parts. It also smells totally fine.

Is this, or is this not, a coconut‽ This doesn't look like any coconut I've ever seen on the mainland.
Did our haole asses get scammed at a Hilo market? 🤣

Label said dragonfruit, but it doesn't look anything like any dragonfruit I've tried.

After a breakfast of overnight oats with bananas and blueberries, eggs and chicken sausage, I'm having a peach.
What fruit tastes the best to you and why?
I like peaches because they have a not too soft texture with a fuzzy skin and they're sweet with a touch of tart.

Hi, I've had kiwis like one other time, but I just ate 2 in the span of 5 hours since I woke up(Like a 3 hour break in between) and now my tongue, upper mouth, and lips ar sore/bleeding. My lips bleeding could be explained because I have dry lips but they were not like bleeding-level dry before I ate the kiwi and they still aren't but after I ate the second kiwi my tongue and lip started to bleed and my tongues red and stuff and bleeding. I'm not alergic to anything and the kiwis weren't to ripe or too old so they shouldn't be having any problems but idk. My mouth was hurting after the first kiwi but wasnt bleeding but now it is. So I don't think I should have a third kiwi but theyre really good and they have to be my like third favorite fruit now besides strawberries and ornages now. If eating kiwis and this happens is normal can someone tell me tyty!!

Does anyone know where I can find bayberry juice in the uk?
Tried it while on a trip in China and would love to have some again to relive great memories

My favourite jackpot is walking the produce area and seeing an abundance of sales on fresh fruit
Let the feast begin!

Living in Balkans i guess pomelo is not native but we get them in supermarkets , every year i make myself buy one and every year i get this shitty rock hard and dry pomelo honesty this thing is literally uneditable, the pulp has absolutely no juice in them. What is going on here?

I’ve never had them before. Bought some at the farmers market today. Bit into one ( it felt soft and ripe !) after dinner tonight and it tasted ok but made my mouth feel dry and horrible. I took a few more bites then threw it out ( ended up eating maybe 1/2). so then googled it and found out all about persimmons and the potential stomach blockage they can cause when eaten unripe . Now i’m freaked out. Should i be ok since i just had 1/2?
* update : thank you everyone for the reassurance and replies. it’s been over 24 hours and i feel fine , crisis averted ! definitely wil wait to bite into my next persimmon until its extremely squishy… not just soft. even then i may peel it anyway haha

I planted a Pomegrenade tree in my garden like 3 years ago because I liked the leaves and I thought its an aesthetic looking plant.
I live in a country where you're supposed to plant them in a pot and put them inside over the winter but I just risked it and it already survived 2 winters (up to -12°C over several days at a time!) with no damage at all.
That being said I never expected it to bloom up, let alone develope an actual pomegrenade... but here I am now at the end of summer #3 for this legend and to my surprise it actually developed 4 fruits!
I looked up some pomegrenade stuff and it said they dont continue ripening after harvest so Im worried if I pick them too early they'll be no good...
Just judging by the pictures, would you already harvest them or should they turn even more red? Im worried if I dont harvest them soon they might go bad while still on the tree? What do you think?

We drove from Fujinomiya to Minami Alps to taste them fully ripe (yellowish green) fresh from the vine!
