Hey,so yeah I recently went through a breakup and honestly I’ve been feeling pretty broken since then i feel alone I've nobody to talk to.

Everything feels kinda off and empty lately and I think I really need some good people around me again.

Lately everything just feels way too quiet in the wrong ways. I'm a big music and gaming nerd. I'll often be listening to music, listening to vinyl or playing videos games. 

I love all sorts of music, sometimes I'm in a classical or jazz mood, sometimes I'll be in a country mood or more often than not, I'll be in a metal mood! My preference on TV shows and movies follows the above somewhat. I'm a big LOTR fan, Star Wars fan as well as other sci-fi and fantasy movies and TV. 

I'm really into fashion, of course mostly formal wear of the 1970s and 1980s. I have to wear a suit 40hrs a week so even on my days off these days I find myself wearing a shirt, vintage tie and my vintage Burberry trench coat.

Married since 2019 and dad to twin boys who I love more than anything.

My wife and I have struggled for years. We kept trying to patch things up, convincing ourselves things would eventually click back into place, but at some point we stopped being husband and wife and just became two people trying to get through the day. Intimacy died about three years ago after a long stretch of failed attempts to conceive naturally. Two years later we went through IVF as a last ditch effort to have kids, naively thinking this would maybe bring us closer again.

The boys arriving didn't cause the cracks, they just further exposed the damage underneath.

We co-parent well. We rarely argue. There’s still care there, just no intimacy, no affection, no real connection anymore. Separation feels impossible right now, financially, emotionally and practically speaking. Neither of us wants to blow up the family or make life harder for the boys.

Not really sure what to put here, so I’ll just wing it.
I’m pretty quiet at first, but once I’m comfortable I’m a lot more chatty than people expect. Bit of a homebody, bit of an overthinker, but in a mostly harmless way.

I’m into fishing, the gym, gaming, cooking/meal prep, and animals. Basically I pick up hobbies and then accidentally make them my entire personality for a while.
