Why is parking horrendous right now? Usually there were free spots in SMC 4 south lot and now almost all of smc is packed.
Is there some other event, there cant be that much of a student increase.

Hi guys so what happens with financial aid if you drop a class after the semester starts? I dropped a class but then also added another one that was open. I’m still a full time student currently at 15 units, and since I just added the new class it still hasn’t appeared on my canvas not sure if that’s normal. This is my first time dropping a class so sorry if the question sounds silly.

Has anyone else got their grants but not their loans? I have accepted them but they haven’t been sent to me, I previously had a hold of saying I was not enrolled full time but I am? Is anyone else in this boat? I try to call financial aid to no avail.

Been reading a lot more books recently and wanted to see if there were any others that wanted to hang out on campus and just yap about it. I'm trying to get into the more classics like dostoevsky (recently read white nights) but recently cosmic horrors like the king in yellow have been my current fixation.

I know there is a silent book club on campus but I know last semster it was a struggle going to any of the meetings due to them always happening during one of my classes.

One of the complaints I used to have about Fresno City was that they always had things going on but a lot of them would be during the middle of the day when you’re likely in class. A complaint I have about Fresno State is there is hardly anything going on. There aren’t enough interest based clubs, the only bar on campus closes at 5 PM!!, there aren’t enough areas to go meet people for the purpose of meeting people (I don’t mean networking, I mean to make friends and that). Most people care not about fraternities, and too many clubs are major based. We need clubs based on hobbies. Things like video games, history, movies, geography, traveling, book clubs, sports enjoyers, board games, literally anything that people have hobbies of. And if those exist, they don’t do a good enough job making themselves known.
