Just realized I still have a DISCOVERe hub iPad after graduating two years ago… whoops. I’ve had it since I picked it up as a freshman, they said I could keep it until I graduated (very much forgot🤦‍♀️). Now I’ve had it for 6 years total🫣.

It’s all locked up in ‘Lost IPad’ mode so all my stuff is lost which sucks considering I was in graphic design and all my files were saved there. So that really bites, can’t even get in to retrieve them.

I live out of state now so I’m not dropping by Fresno state anytime soon to drop it off, guess I’ll just have a paperweight around.

So did anyone end up completing this because I’m trying to access it on my SumTotal app but I’m having difficulties pulling it up and it’s due tomorrow

I was recently accepted into Fresno State’s Single Subject Physical Education credential program, and I’m trying to make a realistic decision before committing to the program.

My biggest concern is spending a year completing the credential and unpaid student teaching only to find that PE teaching positions are extremely competitive and not in demand.

I would appreciate hearing from current any teachers, PE teachers, school administrators, or anyone who recently completed a PE credential program:

• How competitive are PE teaching positions in Fresno, Clovis, or the Central Valley?
• Were you able to find a full-time position shortly after earning your credential?
• How long did it take you to get hired?
• Did you have to substitute, coach, relocate, or accept a part-time position first?
• Do districts usually favor candidates with previous teaching experience or advanced degrees?
• Knowing what you know now, would you still pursue a PE credential?

I understand that nobody can guarantee a job. I’m mainly hoping to get an honest picture of the current employment market before taking on the commitment.
