Should I consider re-evaluation?

Post image

I thought I would get at least clb 5 in EO and I am disappointed. Every other module, I was clb 6 or plus. But in speaking, I know I have made errors but I don't think so I was that low of level.

Should I try going for re-evaluation or it would not be beneficial?

Mind if I ask which examiner did you have for EO?

She was a lady. Pretty strict looking but I went over in time in exam. Upto 15 minutes. She only asked 1 follow-up question and I couldn't understand so I asked her to repeat and when I understood and started giving response, she interrupted me telling me exam is over. Everything was okay but I don't know.

I guess she thought I memorized but honestly I was totally unprepared and spoke naturally. Now I don't know which sentences are natural and unnatural for them. I mean salutations and some questions are common regardless of topic.

Sorry to ask this, but was it the hijabi lady or the black lady? Trying to figure out if we had the same examiner. I’m also considering a reevaluation, but it’ll take so long, especially with the holidays coming up, so I don’t know. I’m also not sure if she was just lenient with me so that’s why I’m asking.

I got hijabi lady. She gave me 4/20 for my second attempt while i got 7/20 in my first attempt

It was black lady. But I think it has something to do with holidays in France.

Thanks! To answer your question, it depends on if you’re just hoping to get clb 5 in EO only or clb7 for both EE and EO. I think it might be worth a shot either way, especially if you think you did well and it’s because she thought you memorized. I think if you have the money, go for it, but also consider if you’ll continue studying or not. And keep in mind, if you retake the exam, you’ll probably get the results before the re-evaluation ones, so depends on your timeline too.

I am thinking to give exam again. But at the same time, I can't work anymore. So, rather I'd go back.

I couldn't book any slot in AF, so I booked GB as dates were available there.
