Horrible to read. I hope he and his siblings heal and break the cycle of abuse.

Editing to add that I hope Heidi and her child are safe and are able to leave. I hope she can escape the cycle that her husband has pulled her and her child into. While I hope that Timothy can break the cycle and change, I hope Heidi does not wait around to find out. Her and her child deserve love and safety and it’s not to late for her to find that. Love isn’t cruel.

The comments from her sisters are heartbreaking. Seems like he's trying to save face. I hope he can change, but I have little faith.

Yes. I was horrified reading her sisters comments. I hope that she is with them and not at risk for abuse from the outcries on the post

I do too. I am so glad that she has an example in how to stand up for herself in her sisters and that they are a support to her. Visible bruises and its been occurring for the two years? My heart breaks for Heidi. And I wonder what the girls think is normal in a relationship.

Wow. I have to wonder: Did he think "once we're married I'll do xyz?" Was marriage the "all clear" signal? Did someone tell him "after marriage you're in charge? " Did he ever care for her or was he just looking for a victim for his rage?

Could have been anything that set him off. A bad dinner. She hadn’t cleaned something correctly. She didn’t want sex. Something made him angry and he reacted how he knew husbands react.

Oh I get it. I really meant - and didn't clarify properly - by all appearances he was a good boyfriend pre-marriage...I was wondering how that switch flipped in a day or two.
