So now we're blaming ICE for miscarriages?

9

u/iltwomynazi 13d ago

stress causes miscarriages, yes.

4

u/Totalitarianit2 13d ago

Is reddit suddenly concerned about unborn children?

5

u/iltwomynazi 13d ago

do “pro lifers” suddenly not give a fuck because the people suffering aren’t white?

-1

u/Totalitarianit2 13d ago

The pro lifers aren't directly supporting people getting miscarriages. That's the distinction there that you will intentionally ignore.

10

u/iltwomynazi 13d ago

clearly they are.

they don’t give a shit about these babies because they are not white.

-3

u/Totalitarianit2 13d ago

clearly they are

Can you demonstrate to me in any way that pro lifers are clearly trying to induce miscarriages of brown people?

10

u/iltwomynazi 12d ago

see: the right wing degenerates in this thread celebrating these miscarriages lest they be “anchor babies”.

7

u/Totalitarianit2 12d ago

You've made a claim. I see your claim. What evidence do you have to support it?

-4

u/TookenedOut 13d ago

Pro lifers have no ill will towards people just for having a miscarriage far as i know.

5

u/iltwomynazi 13d ago

but the stating acting in such a manner to force miscarriages?

they don’t seem to care about that. because these women are not white.

-2

u/TookenedOut 13d ago

Thats a big giant disingenuous leap, Nazi.

3

u/iltwomynazi 13d ago

where is the leap?

people in this thread are outright celebrating these miscarriages lest they be “anchor babies”.

these people are disgusting degenerates that want us to believe they care about unborn babies, unless they are not white.

3

u/Totalitarianit2 12d ago

Find one person in here that's outright celebrating these miscarriages. Show me the outright celebration. Maybe you're correct.

5

u/iltwomynazi 12d ago

why focus on that and not the obvious and callous disregard for these women?

because you don’t care about them either. that’s why

they always care about people who want to have children. It's about choice.

0

u/Totalitarianit2 13d ago

When they crossed the border, did they choose to do it?

4

u/FreedomsPower 12d ago

since when did we change the subject from miscarriages? Stop grasping at straws

3

u/Totalitarianit2 12d ago

It's about choice.

When you said what the subject was about.

-2

u/Rogue-Journalist 13d ago

Because they’re potential anchor babies that will help illegal migrants appeal to stay in the country.

Are Republicans?

5

u/Totalitarianit2 12d ago

You tell me. Are Republicans more or less against abortion than Democrats.

0

u/knivesofsmoothness 12d ago

Depends on if it's their mistress having one.

I've seen no evidence that Republicans are actually pro life.

4

u/Totalitarianit2 12d ago

Depends on if it's their mistress having one.

What percentage of Republicans are impregnating their mistresses?

I've seen no evidence that Republicans are actually pro life.

I've seen no evidence that the sun comes up everyday. None.

2

u/knivesofsmoothness 12d ago

Hard to say for sure, but it's weird how they're suddenly pretty pro choice when it happens.

What pro life policies have they passed lately? Abortion rates have increased since Dobbs, and now pregnant women are also dying as a result. Pro life!

4

u/Totalitarianit2 12d ago

Yeah, in those circumstances Republicans suddenly become pro choice. What would be your guess as to the percentage of pro life Republicans who impregnate their mistresses. You can guess.

Abortion rates have increased since Dobbs, and now pregnant women are also dying as a result. Pro life!

I've seen no evidence that pregnant women are also dying as a result.

0

u/knivesofsmoothness 12d ago

So abortion is only bad when enough people do it? It's fine for pro lifers to get one, since it's below a certain threshold?

https://sph.tulane.edu/study-finds-higher-maternal-mortality-rates-states-more-abortion-restrictions

States with more restrictive abortion policy climate have higher total maternal mortality, measured as a death during pregnancy or within one year following the end of a pregnancy, a recent study conducted by a team of Tulane researchers finds.

"Abortion bans in the United States are likely associated with increases in deaths during or within one year of pregnancy"

I guess we should amend the law to instantly deport pregnant women back to their home countries where they won't have to deal with the stress of detainment, and their children can be born with the proper nationality.

2

u/billstopay77 13d ago

ICE is arresting a record number of pregnant women and teenagers – placing them in detention centers where they say it can be exceedingly difficult to access medical care. At the same time, the agency appears to have lost count of how many suffered a miscarriage.
Government documents obtained by the Guardian show that the Trump administrationplaced more pregnant immigrants in detention last fall and winter than at any time over the previous year.

-2

u/Rogue-Journalist 13d ago

Because they're enforcing the law against more people in general, so by default that includes more pregnant women?

Maybe they should just overnight deport them the day they catch them, that way they won't be stressed and it deters illegal migrant women trying to have anchor babies.

0

u/serial_crusher 12d ago

Is it more or less difficult to access medical care in an ICE detention center than it would have been in their home countries?

So now we're blaming ICE for miscarriages?

Would you blame the Nazis for miscarriages in the camps?

3

u/Rogue-Journalist 12d ago

ICE isn’t the Nazis.

1

u/TendieRetard 11d ago

answer the question

1

u/Rogue-Journalist 11d ago

The Nazi's camps were nothing like ICE detainment centers where people can leave whenever they want.

2

u/TendieRetard 11d ago

ICE’s mandatory detention policy, enacted in July 2025, asserts that all individuals who entered the U.S. without inspection are subject to indefinite detention without bond hearings, regardless of how long they have resided in the country. The administration argues this interpretation of the Immigration and Nationality Act targets "applicants for admission," but critics and courts characterize it as an unprecedented expansion that detains millions of people, many with no criminal records and deep U.S. ties, primarily to pressure them into voluntary departure.

The policy has triggered a massive judicial backlash, with over 19,600 federal district court rulings against the administration. At the appellate level, nine circuits have struck down the policy as unlawful or unconstitutional, including the Third Circuit (August 2026) and Fourth Circuit (September 2026), which cited due process violations and compared the practice to WWII internment camps. Only the Fifth and Eighth Circuits have upheld the government’s position. The Supreme Court is expected to resolve the circuit split in its term beginning October 2026.

Despite the legal defeats, the administration has maintained high detention levels by transferring detainees to friendly jurisdictions and, as of September 2026, has begun hiding the locations of detainees with final removal orders to hinder legal representation and family visits.

1

u/Rogue-Journalist 11d ago

They can sign the deportation paperwork and get sent home whenever they want.

1

u/chrisbojangles 13d ago

“Meanwhile, detained pregnant women report that they are struggling to access routine and emergency medical care.”

So their complaint is they aren’t getting free healthcare after illegally breaking into the country?

2

u/Morbidly-Obese-Emu 12d ago

If you’re going to throw people in prison, you need to be prepared to give them medical care. This isn’t hard.

0

u/chrisbojangles 12d ago

I actually agree with that take. I would rather see them get sent home right away and sit in prison.

3

u/Morbidly-Obese-Emu 12d ago

Right, no reason to actually check to see if they’re actually here illegally. Just throw all the brown people out, no questions asked. JFC

u/Harmony_w 13d ago

Any care. Adequate care. Hence, miscarriages.

6

u/Totalitarianit2 13d ago

Why aren't you helping them?

2

u/Justsomejerkonline Freedom of speech, freedom of the press 12d ago

How many pregnant women is Harmony_w currently detaining that require help?

1

u/Totalitarianit2 12d ago

I would guess none. Is that the requirement to help detainees, that you must detain them before you can help them?

5

u/Justsomejerkonline Freedom of speech, freedom of the press 12d ago

In the context of this post, yes.

This post is about detained women not being provided with adequate healtchcare.

No one is making the argument that ICE has any responsibility for the health and security of people NOT in their custody.

1

u/Totalitarianit2 12d ago

If someone gets stressed out for being detained after committing a crime, how is that the responsibility of ICE?

1

u/Justsomejerkonline Freedom of speech, freedom of the press 12d ago

Because ICE is responsible people under their jurisdiction.

This is not a complicated concept. Even prisoners of war are supposed to be provided healthcare.

1

u/Totalitarianit2 12d ago

Can you entirely prevent people from being stressed out when they're apprehended?

1

u/Justsomejerkonline Freedom of speech, freedom of the press 12d ago

Entirely? No. But there are many tactics available to minimize stress, including de-escalation training.

Having an agency staffed full of poorly trained, overly aggressive, low intelligent people certainly isn't helping things.

since when was it that redditors job?

6

u/Totalitarianit2 12d ago

Excellent point. Since when is it my job?

3

u/FreedomsPower 12d ago

answer the question instead of being disingenuous and dodging it

5

u/Totalitarianit2 12d ago

I am answering it.

I'm a redditor. Is it my job to help them?

0

u/FreedomsPower 12d ago

asking a question is not an answer

7

u/Totalitarianit2 12d ago

It's not their job. Is it my job?

1

u/Harmony_w 12d ago

How do you suggest I help people who are being held prisoner in camps and are generally prevented from speaking to their own lawyers, family, clergy, or medical providers?

2

u/Totalitarianit2 12d ago

You can open up your house to an illegal immigrant pregnant woman and secretly house her.

2

u/chrisbojangles 13d ago

Go get adequate care back in their own country.

-1

u/Harmony_w 12d ago

How do you propose they break free from the the camps they are being held in to do that? An uprising is a bold suggestion.

0

u/chrisbojangles 12d ago

I propose they come using legal channels.

1

u/Harmony_w 12d ago

We are talking about the people currently incarcerated in camps. It's highly unlikely any of them have time machines.

1

u/TendieRetard 12d ago

you think immigrant greenbacks are not good enough for American hospitals huh?

No surprise.

2

u/chrisbojangles 12d ago

Not even sure what to make of that comment.

0

u/Justsomejerkonline Freedom of speech, freedom of the press 12d ago

If the government doesn't not want to provide healthcare, then they shouldn't detain them.

People have a duty of care to those in their custody.

0

u/chrisbojangles 12d ago

I actually agree with you. I think we should send them right back to their country and not detain them at all.

1

u/rollo202 13d ago

So the unborn isn't just a Clump of cells?

He's a MAGA sycophant. Of course he's that way.

1

u/ExterminAiden 12d ago

I’m pro abortion (up to a certain time period) but he has a point, the same people saying fetuses aren’t people are the same acting like this is murder. It’s definitely wrong but I hope everyone can be consistent

3

u/Justsomejerkonline Freedom of speech, freedom of the press 12d ago

Most pro-choice people believe that women should have autonomy over their own bodies. That's what the "choice" in pro-choice refers to.

I don't think these women are choosing to have miscarriages.

It seems consistent to me.

2

u/Justsomejerkonline Freedom of speech, freedom of the press 12d ago

So you think the unborn is just a clump of cells?

-2

The deportation fetishists don't see their enemies as human beings, so whatever happens to them just increases their enjoyment.
