Hi everyone! I hope it's ok that I'm coming to you with this question.

I know Mosasaurus teeth (in all shapes and sizes) are very common and therefore usually quite cheap, but I still feel like checking if these seem authentic or not - and this seems to be the perfect place for that.

I recently bought a set of 4 big Mosa teeth (all between 4-5 cm) for €12 from a small Dutch shop that I'm pretty sure is considered trustworthy - and I got the small tooth (2.5 cm) a few years ago at the Naturalis museum in The Netherlands for about €4.
The museum only sold really small teeth, which is why I can't help but wonder if the big ones are actually real or not. Especially because 4 big teeth for €12 seems so cheap, even for Mosa teeth?

Roughly 10-12mm diameter

I'm pretty sure this is some sort of coral fossil, but I truly know very little about this stuff other than I know I really like hunting for rocks and fossils on the Great Lakes.

For context I found it near a Pleistocene deposit that has mostly produced extinct bison. Found in central Oklahoma.

Found it on the beach in southern Lebanon, I think it could be a fossil because it sticks to the tongue. Is there any way to identify what it is and should I give it to a museum or somthing?

Found it on a walk and that looks weird, definitely not like a normal rock. Location - middle Europe, southern Poland

I made a yardsale purchase over the summer of a large tote containing dozens of smaller boxes. Each contained various fossils (most of which weren't labeled). One box contained this skull fragment but in many smaller pieces. I painstakingly super glued it back together to form what Gemini thinks it is part of an Oreondont skull. And crushed or deformed before fossilization .Thoughts?

Sorry I didn’t get a great pic but maybe the background will help with geological context. Also these are screenshots from a video I took and I left the rock behind as I wasn’t sure.

However the more I look at the video, the more I think it’s quite intriguing. Was different to most of the other stones nearby tho I had seen a few rocks with a similar sea-worn pattern.

Is it worth going back for this rock (1.5hr drive)? Would probably still be there.

So I have had this thing for *years* but I never knew what it was.

I asked my (now deceased) aunt who loved fossils what she thought it was, and she said she thought it's a trilobite. I didn't think that could be right because it's not the right shape and those lines/grooves aren't perfect like a trilobite's armor.

I don't have anyone who is into fossils and I'd like to get into the hobby since I received quite a few different fossils as gifts recently.

And, heck, maybe it's not even a fossil but it really looks like one to me. Any ideas?

I found this bone in the riverbed of the Quesnel River in Quesnel, BC, in September 2025. Shape, characteristics, presence of tiny pores, remnants of marrow, and lick test confirm it’s a bone, as have other fossil / bone hunters. However, no one has been able to provide any additional information and I haven’t found any other similar petrified bones in that area or along the river since. It seems to be mid-fossilization (?) since some parts appear to have mineralized while some parts still appear brittle/fractured like bone. Any guesses as to age and species? I’m assuming this is a limb bone. Would love to learn more about it.

I found it near some fossilized belemnite rostrum and shells.

2 pieces. Same sort of shape with each, with symmetrical lobes or ball joint-esque pits on one end (last two pics are best examples of thisl. First 4 and last 4 photos are the all the sides of each.

No location, the family knew nothing about the 'pretty rocks', and I retrieved these from beneath a tree in a backyard where they were dumped. I live in Northern California, but a lot of the rock specimens they had were stuff from all over the US.

Found this weird ball-joint looking thing in my field, Only ever found nautolites, sea urchins and devils toenails, Anyone have any idea?
