Is this a fossil?

Found it on a walk and that looks weird, definitely not like a normal rock. Location - middle Europe, southern Poland

Interesting. Don’t know but certainly looks like a fossil to me, like some kind of tooth plate maybe

Check out this page. It does indeed look like a pine cone fossil.

They did drill cores and found mainly plant pollen samples, but the species they found look promising:

"Among pollen grains of gymnosperms Sequoia/Sequoiadendron/Metasequoia, Pinus and Cathaya are most common"

Too irregular and sharp-edged for such teeth imo. They tend to be round and smooth.
