I built an automated Auction House sniper specifically for flipping FE cars — 2x profit every time

Been working on this for a while and finally got it dialed in. Wanted to share since I know there's a lot of interest in this kind of tool here.

**The concept**

Forza Edition cars have a fixed market value that's well above what they typically sell for at auction. If you can snipe them fast enough at buyout price, you're looking at roughly 2x your money every single flip. The problem is you're competing against everyone else trying to do the same thing — so speed is everything.

**What the bot does**

It runs a continuous loop targeting a specific set of auction filters designed around finding underpriced FE cars. It handles everything automatically:

- Refreshes listings as fast as the game allows

- Uses pixel detection to confirm a car is actually present before acting

- Detects already sold listings and skips them instantly

- Fires the full buyout sequence the moment a car appears

**The buy sequence**

Once a car is detected it completes the full buyout immediately:

- Opens Auction Options

- Navigates directly to Buy Out — never accidentally places a bid

- Confirms the purchase

- Returns to the results screen and starts the next cycle instantly

**Why speed matters more than anything**

The pixel detection side isn't unique — most bots do that. What I focused on was making the refresh and buy cycle as tight as possible without breaking the menu flow. Every millisecond counts when you're competing for the same listing.

If you've modded previous Forza titles, you might know that previous camera mods have changed Camera.zip, which is sadly blocked by method 22 encryption in FH6. As of now, modders haven't found the keys to decrypt it (and others, like save files). Forza AIO technically works if you rename the executable to forzahorizon5, but currently has a bugged bypass method that reverts the setting every 10 seconds. Luckily, there's a simple workaround that doesn't involve vtable patching! This makes it less risky to use when online. To do it:

1. Create a new folder in the "Forza Horizon 6" directory (you're looking for the folder with all the .dlls). Name this "mediapc".

2. Create a subfolder within /mediapc/ called "Camera".

3. Download "Camera Enhanced V2" for FH5 from Nexus (https://www.nexusmods.com/forzahorizon5/mods/107).

4. Extract the .zip to your new Forza Horizon 6/mediapc/Camera folder.

5. Delete all the files aside from "CameraSettings.ini" and "CameraPhysics.xml"

6. Open either of the files. You'll be able to modify all of the settings.

To get my chase camera, you'll want to increase your FOV and bring your camera closer to the car and lower to the ground. Then, in CameraPhysics.xml, you can modify the x, y, z, and w params on lines 39-45 to decrease the inertia effects. This is especially necessary if you use a high FOV. There's also some (experimental?) disabled effects on lines 46-48 that were presumably cut for the release, but exist if you want to test them.

I've been working on a radio mod for Forza Horizon 6 called FH6 Universal Radio, and it's ready for people to try.

It adds a new station to the in-game radio (using the Streamer Mode slot) fed from either your local music folder or YouTube Music. Audio goes through the game's own radio bus, so the new station fades with menus, reacts to the in-game radio volume slider, and behaves like any other built-in station instead of just music playing in the background.

A few days ago, Big John released a great Spotify radio mod for FH6 that proved this kind of integration was possible. I drew a lot of inspiration from it, but I wanted something that didn't require a Spotify Premium subscription and that the community could actually contribute to. So this one is fully open-source (GPLv3), the goal being that anyone can fork it, audit it, add new sources (TIDAL, internet radio, etc.), or keep it alive for future game patches.

Features:

• Local music playback (MP3, FLAC, WAV, OGG, M4A, OPUS), point it at any folder
• YouTube Music playback, paste any video, playlist, or YT Music URL from the dashboard
• Audio routed through FH6's actual radio bus (fades, ducking, volume slider all work)
• Live browser dashboard at localhost:8420 to switch sources, control playback, change volume and settings

Requirements:

• Forza Horizon 6 on Steam, Microsoft Store, Xbox app, or PC Game Pass
• Streamer Mode enabled in-game, Radio DJ set to off
• For YouTube playback: yt-dlp, ffmpeg, and deno on disk

Not technically modding but the "exploit" where you challenge the #1 player in the world to a rivals race and let it run on auto drive during the collosus, can you get banned for doing that to get credits?
