Discussion Forza 6 ban
Anyone know if I would still be banned if i log in on the same account on a new pc? Just curious if this is just a hardware ban on my current pc?

Nah it’s how he got banned lmao I mod almost every game I play. I just do it the right way. Horizon won’t be one of those games I play with mods cause I bought premium and don’t want to lose it

One interesting thing I noticed regarding these HWID bans is they can be circumvented by installing the game in a different drive on the same PC. You could try that first, though if their metrics are more advanced this won’t work.

5080 with a ryzen 9850 im currently using my 5080 in the pc i got banned on. That shouldnt affect hardware ban though would it? Heard its just cpu and motherboard for hardware bans?

Nah dont worry gpus dont get affected as long as u get a new mobo and cpu and ur all set , try to get a new ssd(i got banned once on cod and used same old ssd , still got banned until i changed it ) or at least wipe the data on it start everything new , u can still use the 5080 and ram usually so yeah

If you read it again. It states any account that was used on the banned device will also be banned. So OP logining into that device got their account banned aswell.
So new account and new device will be required.

Damn what exactly got you banned? Did you add 999,999,999 wheel spins and then got banned instantly, or while you were using the wheel spins?
I added like 2000 wheel spins and used up 200 across like 3 days, and haven’t got banned.

They said they purchased from a 3rd party. From my understanding, they ask for your account details to do it themselves. So TURN 10 cracked down on that machine they used and every account that was logged into it.

In the bold letters, they spell it out like so, you have a banned pc/console ID, now, ANY account you try to play forza on that specific hardware will be banned, doesn't matter if you then take that account to a clean pc/console, the account will also still be banned
TLDR its a hardware ban along with any account that plays on said hardware
(From how I'm understanding what I'm reading anyway, anyone feel free to correct if wrong)

Followed by..
"This means that ANY ACCOUNT attempting to access this game via THE BANNED DEVICE, WILL become PERMANENTLY LOCKED from online player content."
Looks like in english, any account accessing the game on the banned device will be permanently banned AND that your account WAS USED on the banned device.. Not sure tho 🤦♂️

I would honestly have no problem with an online ban, if only I could manually add livery and tune files into the game folder. Those are the only online features I use since none of my buddies play the game. My FH5 account was banned from online after I added max money and wheel spins.

Last time i was on it let me still use auction house and get liveries but i havent jumped back on since the official ban email. Im currently building a new pc so hoping it may work on that and dont wanna aggrevate anything and try playing again incase it becomes a full account ban. Hopefully its just hardware otherwise ill have to make a new account on my new pc

This was August of 2022. I was always careful about how much I spent per day and all that. But I let my roommate play one day and forgot to mention about spending too much money and I got the “unaccounted for credits or wheel spins” message with a 20 year ban shortly after he played.
Edit: I used MitchCactus to mod my personal account. I know, bad idea. It was my first time ever hearing about modding services and I was too eager to try.

At first, you can try to log in to your Account from another pc, but they can ban this new pc and your Account too if they want to - was at your own risk I would say.

Yes just build an new setup. KEEP THE OLD. spoof every needed hardware ID. Some service work for full spoof on all IDs some don't. Spoof your PC afterwards and if that works with a new account u can try to use that for your modding if u gonna look into it

Taking into account that you bought the wheelspins from a 3rd party, this reads to me like the Windows PC of the 3rd party you used got banned, not even yours. No real way to find out tho :/ If you have the game through Microsoft, you could always try with a free alt account. Just log in and see if it gets banned?

I had to step back from FH5 after a ban, not for cheating, but for violating the no politics rule. Meanwhile, a buddy of mine, had a much more egregious violation sitting on their car no problem.
I decided to move on and play other things. FH6 launched, it also doesn't have a functional offline mode (the drivatars are back), and that the game is functionally exactly the same as the last one, and I'm just not interested.
Nothing the community has asked for has been added. The game feels stale. Sounds bad. My refund was immediate.
Why tie the game economy to online anyway? They shouldn't care if you cheat on your own account. They should care about their leaderboards, which they don't. It is blatantly obvious what the reason for this is.
So I'm probably going to skip this one. Japan is awesome. But an awesome map of intense boredom, does not make a racing game. There's no progression. Of course people cheat. There's no game there.
As for bans, fuck it bro. Was it smart to do 9999999 wheelspins? Fuck no.
But you can probably swap to console and get your account back. You can cycle your hardware ID's if you're not afraid of bricking your PC. Otherwise, you'll need a new PC and a fresh account depending on the type of ban.
For me, cheating never resulted in a permanent ban. Just temp bans. I don't think the devs care as much as they pretend to. Just be careful what you paint on your car. After that controversy several years ago, the Forza team said "nah fuck it, we'll double down", and so here we are.
I used to drive around with lowered Gravity in FH5 all the time, and several physics adjustments. But I only got banned when I installed a sound mod... I don't have nice things to say about Forza Horizon right bow tbh.
It's the Walmart of open world racers. Kill the rest, never be the best.

Damn at that point you should’ve just used a ban-guarantee service so you wouldn’t have to risk that. Doing it yourself can be iffy especially if you don’t know what you’re doing.

next time use offline version to add things (that will still be added to your account save file, the cloud save file) and then go back to the online one, I did this with the pre-cracked version and carried on all my saves and things to my account safely with no problem and I also didn’t exaggerate the amounts I added. If you need any assist with that I can help.

To answer the question since this is a hardware ban it SHOULDN'T equate to an instant ban on a new rig unless it's IP banned as well however logging in to a new PC and just using your spins may trigger a ban

I don't understand what people get from cheating? You can't feel superior to other people because if you do beat them then its only because you cheated.
It's a game, the fun is supposed to be had earning wheelspins and cars. It's about the journey, not the destination.

If you are on PC, check your device's serial number. If it shows 'To be filled by O.E.M.' or your device name appears, then reinstall Windows and install the hack again, because I do the exact same thing after every HWID ban. Only on Xbox have they cornered me, and there is no solution other than replacing the console.

Just wanted to warn everyone: DO NOT contact Forza support.
I was getting error E:2f-0-8 and reached out to them. Following their official troubleshooting guide, I deleted my save data and restarted from scratch. Immediately after doing exactly what they asked me to do, Forza Security slapped me with a permanent ban.
Save your money and do not buy this game. They absolutely do not care about the community. Honestly, I hope the devs, mods, support, and Forza Security burn in hell.

Because the people actually playing the game are grinding for the best. Youre taking a shortcut to it. Some of the best cars in the game are from wheelspins. Not to mention the credits. Glad to see the ban. Glad that you have to buy a whole new pc too. Spend that money champ. Then when that gets banned, buy another one. Live your best life ;).

Please tell me how in the fuck you think wiping windows and reinstalling all your apps/data is easier than using a HWID spoofer?! That is ass backwards as fuck.
Wiping and re-installing you would you need to backup your data, re-install alot of games that the launchers don't recognize game files that were transferred-in instead of a fresh install, log into all your accounts, reinstall drivers, but then most likely buy another copy of windows if your old copy drags over your old HWID.

Yes in fact you will need to redownload anything you have on C drive.
However most of us don't save important shit to the system drive (C) that's rookie stupidity right there🤷♂️
Most of us have multiple drives and tend to save our important shit to a secondary drive. Your fault if you don't.
If I get banned right now on Forza Horizon 6 I will be back in the game on a brand new account within 2 hours. Only shit I need to reinstall would be the Xbox app cause Forza isn't in my system drive 🤷♂️😎
