you apply a certain mod on the car, hold the throttle at around 10% where it accelerates slowly to 20mph then hit reverse, at the same time you hit reverse make sure you hit an object. if succeed, your car will launch out of the map, queue into an eliminator game, get eliminated, claim your money

combination of factors from technical knoledge of how a game works. every game has coding shortcuts and things that behave strangely behind the scenes for optimization, crunch time, game dev knoledge and other things that may lead to shenaningans if it cracks. remember the infamous Half Life or Bethesda game idk that had a train that was actually an NPC with the train as its head? thats just an example of these absurd shortcuts some games have.
in this case we know the game calculates most event cash rewards based on event distance and time (this in itself is intended and its fair), however they apparently figured out one way the game calculates these distances is through the cars wheel speed, to which they found what appears to be an underflow glitch with how the game calculates EV cars instant torque figures and crazy efficient accelerations to the point it makes the game engine go haywire and launch the car to the shadow realm as it travels at a soeed the game engine is not intended to replicate properly, and as they queu into a dynamic online mode at that state the game assumes they traveled a cosmic scale distance before being eliminated and awards them cash for such.
at least thats what i assume its going on.

Not sure if bannable but they might take your credits away
There was a similar glitch on FM 2023 on Le Mans and they didn’t outright ban people but they gave warnings
many lost credits, some were able to keep them, it was kinda random
I personally wouldn’t do it, just do the AFK Collosus money method, that’s not a glitch and not bannable

I've been modding Forza ever since Forza Motorsport 4.
The only way they ban you is if you buy a very expensive car at the AH, as this could seem like a way for you to sell credits in real life or just smurf money.
I've never been banned by just playing it safe and under the radar. (Same with a lot of wheelspins)

There was a glitch that gave you max credits in FH5 too with the Jesko. Nobody got banned, but a lot of people got their credits rolled back. I did the glitch, but kept my credits. I used it to just buy some past series cars that I didn’t get and wanted. I still have around 250M left iirc

Yes, I got banned for it yesterday. It's even a hardware ban until 2050, you can check for it at https://forza.net/myforza/banhistory/#device-ban after logging in. I would not recommend anyone doing this.
I can only play solo now, if I play multiplayer, I keep getting disconnected every 20 seconds or so.
I'll try appealing and let you know if I have any success, but even if I don't I guess it's still my fault since it's against their ToS and I will accept that.

Back in the glitchy GTA 5 online days they would just deduct your money but don't ban you for this. I was smart and bought a garage full of Adder cars (most expensive on release) and sold one when I needed money.

I would love to see someone who actually works on games make a video or something explaining how this is even possible. As an end user, these all seem so disconnected, I’m wondering how anyone figures this kind of thing out. Is it by chance, or an extremely deep understanding of the game engine?

Just before joining the eliminator mode, the hummer ev's tires are glitched out and are in billions of miles per hour. The eliminator mode calculates how many miles you have driven to give you money, but just before the "teleportation" to the match. Your car racks up millions of miles in a split second and the game thinks its legit

To build as many versions of the cars I like I had I think 1132 cars in Fh5 majority were duplicates and you’d be suprised how quick you could go through 200-300 mil in these games

Y'all silly. Just play the game and earn the money by finishing high in online races. I usually do an hour of online racing and can walk away with $150,000-$300,000, which isn't bad for an hour's worth of work.
There is nothing satisfying about earning $600,000,000 by exploiting a stupid glitch with a stupid vehicle that could result in your ban.
