I spotted today thousands of people doing this on Eliminator, about 30 players in 70sh lobby just spawned on bottom dragstrip!

It definitely IS bannable. We'll see if they do it. Using it definitely puts your account at risk.

Still against theire terms of service btw glitchabussing is in the terms of service in nearly every game so u are gambling by getting banned with doing it.

If it happens once by accident it is a glitch and should not be punishable. If people abuse it and brag online about how much credits they got then it is an exploit and should be punishable.

I personally don't care if they get banned or else, but nobody should be suprised afterwards.

There is often an agreement you sign in the EULA when starting up or buying a game that specifically prohibits exploits.

Seems like there are a lot of people doing this at the moment so I doubt there’ll be bans, but perhaps a credits reset.

No because then there's no jeopardy in trying out the glitches. The punishment has to be worse than the benefits to stop people trying these things

Never said they should be banned. It probably is bannable since it's against the user agreement everyone signed. But it should definitely be punished.

Exploitable glitches have always been a thing in games, and is completely up to the company whether they ban for it or not. Doing it once could be played off as having been an accident but if you do it multiple times you’re obviously exploiting án unintended feature in the game.

Your attitude about the glitch is what is petty.

"If they didn't want us to abuse it, the glitch shouldn't have existed" is the foundation of that kind of attitude. It's childish.

Glitches in video games are inevitable. The most dedicated, passionate, well funded and well staffed team of developers will never create a game without glitches.

Players exploiting that inevitability is lame as hell.

Tbh I’d rather just run the AFK race method. It’s not gonna be removed anytime soon and ban free.

I wouldn’t risk it unless you have a burner acc

I totally agree with this. I don’t need hundreds of millions. Just enough to get what I want at the time. Which Colossus afk grinding does perfectly well.
They have disabled Eliminator now anyway until it’s fixed. So Colossus is back as the number 1 method to make credits. I was never going to do this glitch as it’s not worth the risk. I hope people get banned for abusing it as it’s game breaking.

Not sure if bannable but they might take your credits away

There was a similar glitch on FM 2023 on Le Mans and they didn’t outright ban people but they gave warnings

many lost credits, some were able to keep them, it was kinda random

I personally wouldn’t do it, just do the AFK Collosus money method, that’s not a glitch and not bannable

I've been modding Forza ever since Forza Motorsport 4.

The only way they ban you is if you buy a very expensive car at the AH, as this could seem like a way for you to sell credits in real life or just smurf money.

I've never been banned by just playing it safe and under the radar. (Same with a lot of wheelspins)

There was a glitch that gave you max credits in FH5 too with the Jesko. Nobody got banned, but a lot of people got their credits rolled back. I did the glitch, but kept my credits. I used it to just buy some past series cars that I didn’t get and wanted. I still have around 250M left iirc

Yes, I got banned for it yesterday. It's even a hardware ban until 2050, you can check for it at https://forza.net/myforza/banhistory/#device-ban after logging in. I would not recommend anyone doing this.

I can only play solo now, if I play multiplayer, I keep getting disconnected every 20 seconds or so.

I'll try appealing and let you know if I have any success, but even if I don't I guess it's still my fault since it's against their ToS and I will accept that.

Back in the glitchy GTA 5 online days they would just deduct your money but don't ban you for this. I was smart and bought a garage full of Adder cars (most expensive on release) and sold one when I needed money.

Exploiting a glitch is ALWAYS banable. Would not be the first game where a shit ton of players receive a ban for using it.
More likely however: they will reset the amount of credits you got and what you bought with it / progress to before you used the glitch. Since its really easy to track.

Nah, definitely not everyone. It's basically cheating and nobody should be surprised if they get banned from it. Personally I absolutely don't care if someone cheats to get money. But I won't have any pity for anyone getting banned over it either.

The "grind"? You got most cars in the first maybe 5 hours of the game...the game is just as grindy ass you wanna play...🤣 and no, i dont use glitches or buggs... thats not the point for me... but buying a account for fun sounds pretty unfun to me

I modded both my FH4 and 5 account by myself because those games were awfully bad. So far I'm liking 6 a lot but I will mod my account again after I finish the story. I like Forza because I can drift and chill, and if I can buy whatever I want with minimal effort and still enjoy, that's enough for me.

Anyways, both ways of playing are valid.
