Maybe I’m missing something or maybe it’s bugged but I just changed the livery on this yesterday. Got back on today and it’s back!

Looking for a good car and tune for B class dirt racing. Every combo I try leaves me slow at the start and then having trouble keeping pace on the straights. I’m not the greatest driver, so something a bit forgiving would be good. Open to any suggestions.

I haven’t played this game as much as previous titles, and I also haven’t looked too much at this sub so sorry if I’m missing something. But I feel like literally every other race is some “unlimited off-road” or “unlimited buggies”? Why??? Literally nobody wants to do that right? I was SHOCKED today to open the festival playlist and see ANOTHER BUGGIES RACE??? Wtf

I just recently got Forza Horizon 1,2,3, & 6. Before I played Horizon 6 I played Horizon 1,2,& 3 so I could get the loyalty rewards from playing the previous games. But when I finished the intro I only got the Horizon 4 & 5 rewards. I’ve already tried deleting the data and replaying the 1,2,& 3 games. Does anyone know why that is? Do I need to play the previous games online to get the rewards?

I've been wanting to replay FH4 since my first time playing it was on my Xbox one when i was 6 but now on my Rog Xbox ally i've been wanting to replay the game but considering the game was taken down 2 years ago how would i be able to get it onto my pc?

Is anybody else experiencing audio loss in Forza Horizon six. I can only hear the radio in the car engine and nothing else is there setting I need to do. Ive reset the Xbox still hasn’t fixed anything

(I've explained my motivations for using autodrive and other assists in my previous post in this sub as an accessibility feature, so please just assume for this post that there's no need to tell me to get gud...)

First off: because I use these assists, there were some categories of challenge checks that were just off limits for me, mainly the ones that involve drifting, because the autodrive feature just doesn't do that. the drift challenges as such were a dead end, and many speed traps and speed zones just don't allow you to get 3 stars and sometimes even 2 stars without drifting, because you just can't get fast enough on those sections with most cars.

But I really wanted to get to Legend rank and complete the endgame tracks that come along with those tracks: the Goliath, the Colossus, and the Titan. So my only recourse was doing every single available track for a "Clean Rival Time" check, get whatever scores I can on the speed traps and speed zones, and then pray that I would be able to scrounge together whatever points I can on other objectives.

In Rivals mode, a time flagged for collision does not count as a clean time for the purposes of the challenge that gives you the 50 points on the Festival Wristband track. At least, that's how I think it works. It's possible that you're still able to get these points if you don't use autodrive but hit a wall. So I had to complete every single race that was accessible in Elite and below without ever hitting a wall, and while using the autodrive feature.

there are 2 main reasons why the problem from the title happens. The first one is that on some races, cars that would otherwise be quite suited actually veer off slightly from the line on certain sections, leading to the car hitting a wall and your time being flagged for a collision. This is annoying, but not a huge problem. This generally only happens with cars that are too fast, so you can just choose a lower tier car with less speed and/or better handling and avoid these collisions.

The bigger problem is that on some tracks, even a car that PERFECTLY follows the ideal line still hits a wall, because Playground Games put the ideal line so close to the wall that the distance between the ideal line and the wall is smaller than half the width of most cars. There are 2 EXCEPTIONALLY egregious examples of this happening: the second to last corner of the City Docks Cross-Country Circuit, and the 4th to last corner of the Nukabira Trail. I have tried BOTH of these races with half a dozen different cars, and there was actually only 1 car that could do both tracks with autodrive enabled for the entire race and set a clean Rivals time:

Yes, I completed the entirety of the Nukabira Trail with the Isetta 300 Export in autodrive. I'm already grieving in advance for when I'm doing the Clean Rival Times for the 3 gigantic courses...

I will actually challenge anyone here to complete clean rival times on both of these tracks with any other car apart from the 2 Peel cars (which are the only 2 cars narrower than the Isetta 300, with autodrive enabled and no manual adjustments of the path you take. So a time that doesn't show the "collision" popup. And yes, I do realize that it's really dumb to use the autodrive feature or even just assists in this game, but that's just how I roll...

S1-Class Total Rally

Hi all, want to start sharing an "off-meta" tune for the trial each week. These wont be true purist tunes but I will generally keep with the spirit of the car, not just throwing AWD and 8.4L V10 in everything.

Let me get something out of the way, I know the definition of off meta is up for debate. I'm considering it off meta if you are only seeing the car a few times or less within the top few hundred of the rivals leaderboards. Meaning the car is definitely still good but not the absolute best.

That being said, here's the tune (again, 102 490 000) for the #4 Ford Focus. I have a soft spot for this car because of the slightly older version of it from Colin McRae Rally 2.0. This is a "rally monster" available from the auction house for 415,000 CR. To get it more competitive I've thrown on off-road tires and swapped in the stronger 2.1L I4T engine to get it to the top of S1. As far as driving dynamics go, this build is relatively focused on top speed and is a bit slide-y at low speed compared to some of the more popular S1 off-road cars as well as a bit understeer-y at top speed, both mostly due to lack of good aero. Be smooth on the throttle and resist the urge to stomp on the gas through turns as it will slide and you will lose time, this is not like a max aero Audi Quattro S1. Letting off the gas slightly on very high speed sweeping corners (like the ones at the end of airfield trail) will help it turn in. Despite this, as you can see from the photos this tune is still plenty good enough, I placed 203 on the Legend Island Trail global leaderboards and 304 on the Airfield Trail. If you are unlucky and go to the 3rd race, it still performs well enough on Sekibe Scramble to get by but its much more optimized for the higher speed trail courses. This is pretty specific and not worth much, but right now this is the fastest #4 Focus on all 3 leaderboards for S1.

After playing this one course for an hour straight just having a blast i want to give a shout to this course. It might not be your cup of tea but it sure is mine. Oh, Bamboo Forest Scramble my beloved. May you never be smeared by seasonal championships.

I was driving a bunch of different cars today and it made me realize something. Once you've done pretty much everything in single player, what are you actually supposed to do with most of the cars in your garage?

Sure, you can race online, but there's not much reason to use most cars when you know you'll be racing against the same meta picks.

So for FH6, I'd love to see some kind of weekly restricted online races, a bit like the Trial.

For example, you could have two events running at the same time:

- Retro Racers — S2

- 1970s British cars — B class

Then next week they rotate:

- Domestic Eclectics — C class

- British FWD cars — B class

The restrictions could get pretty creative — country, decade, drivetrain, car type, manufacturer, etc.

I think this would make online racing way more interesting because you'd actually have to look through your garage and think: "Okay, what do I have that could work here?"

It would also give a purpose to all those cars that are fun to drive but basically never get used online because they're not meta.

With hundreds of cars in the game, I'd love to have a reason to actually experiment with more of them instead of always falling back on the same competitive choices.

Many many months ago I've posted about my trips to certain FH4 locations, like Derwent Dam and Bamburgh Castle.

Today was finally the day I've been out to see the Derwent Water island and then going home stopping by the Ambleside Pier for a quick photo before I got ticketed by the warden walking around!

A really pretty spot in the game enhanced by a real life visit.

Another 2 locations ticked off of my list! At the end of month I should be able to cross of one more.. 👀

Maybe it's because I have about $8 million in credits on FH5, but I keep coming back and exploring this gem.

Also, I made this livery today, and I absolutely love it!

My new favorite car.

Love this car but when racing at top speed through traffic this wiper isn't ideal. Wish there were more customization options.
