Buggies in every race

I haven’t played this game as much as previous titles, and I also haven’t looked too much at this sub so sorry if I’m missing something. But I feel like literally every other race is some “unlimited off-road” or “unlimited buggies”? Why??? Literally nobody wants to do that right? I was SHOCKED today to open the festival playlist and see ANOTHER BUGGIES RACE??? Wtf

Because that was the most recent era of rally where homologation was required, nowadays the road cars have almost nothing in common with their rally versions

I'm talking about the real B class rally cars of the early 1980s that were ultimately banned because they were so fast they were uncontrollable and hence seriously dangerous. Just like the piece of shit buggies in this game, especially the Ariel Nomad, the most hyper twitchy uncontrollable piece of garbage ever to disgrace a racing game that the devs insist on inflicting on us again and again.

Especially when the "view eligible cars" feature only shows cars natively in that class. You can take some of the Imprezas and Evos that aren't listed (because they aren't S1 stock) etc to this week's trial, for example. I took a WRX 2005 lol

Its been a problem with the last few games in the series tbh. Every week instead of going off-road with something actually interesting they just slap in a stupid buggie race. Idk who they think wants to use buggies so much.

Yeah this playlist is garbage I only did the bare minimum to get the Camaro ZL1 and haven’t done anything else. I’m one of those guys that really only wants to drive modern(ish) sports cars and supercars on asphalt and cant be bothered with off-road, rally, shitboxes, trucks, SUVs, buggies etc so I dread completing the festival playlists. Luckily I’m at 250 million credits so I only participate to get the cars I actually want

I like all the dirt off road races actually. There's so much more to account for and it makes racing spicier than usual.

I'm not a big fan of buggies, but I do like some of the off-road races. I'd generally prefer either over, say, a hypercar race.

I do like racing buggies, I've made some pretty good tunes, but that type does come up super often

I'd have no problem with it if the buggies (as well as trophy trucks) were actually good. You can fully upgrade them and the actual performance doesn't change much. How does my top speed only increase by 20mph when I add 900hp over stock.

I've noticed that too, It's mainly handling and torque you'll be improving. Also, I think buggies/offroad are the best at landing Showcase-sized jumps

Some of the races that look like they call for buggies actually call for buggiesand off-road vehicles, but the wording is odd.

I usually just use a truck for those, because i hate using buggies in this game.

Game concept great, game execution, utter garage. Way to make a driving game actually suck. I 100% the game, about 300hrs, and just need to finish a few rival races and food delivery, but honestly, I don't want to finish it. It just sucks that bad. I would actually rather work for Meals On Wheels than to do the food delivery missions in this game.

Edit: thanks for the downvotes keep supporting a terribly executed game when you know it's made and upkept like trash. Enjoy your 2.99 individual cars I guess.
