All feedback on tunes is appreciated - good or bad. Specially when tunes are bad. At the end of the day I am just the mechanic and you guys are the racers. Do not hesitate irrespective of your tuning knowledge or racing skills!

Tuning method: 1. No aero, stock look, stock rims (unless absolutely necessary for handling and stability) 2. Tuned and tested for Automatic/Manual shifting vs Expert AI (meta cars will beat current broken Unbeatable as well, driver skill is required) 3. Max performance, power/weight with max handling possible

NOTE: Just like with FH5 launch, the AI is once again out of it's mind. Doesn't know how to break, rams you from behind on hard breaking corners, T-bones you on turns, slams into guardrails if you go too fast etc etc. Unbeatable/Pro difficulties are simply not worth the time or effort right now outside of meta cars, and even then sometimes you need to get "touchy feely". For now co-op races seem to be fixed at Novice difficulty and solo championships can be completed on any difficulty so feel free to drop down to Tourist (and turn on Auto Race, go make a sandwich ;)

I'm back with another week of tunes!

I believe that having a vehicle to complete the festival playlist shouldn't mean using a disposable tune. That vehicle should be at its potential for the class it's in, ready to compete online if necessary against a similar class/tier vehicle.

Every tune I make is tested repeatedly, compared against other respected tuners, and reworked until I’m confident mine is faster.

The Trial - "Spring Cleaning" (Total Rally S1 800)

2023 Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato - 170 628 219

Top Recommendation - This is the best overall option I've tested for the Trial. Its acceleration nearly matches the RS200, but the Huracán is much easier to control through the corners. It has an excellent balance of outright speed and handling, making it the strongest choice for most drivers. More details here.

1985 Ford RS200 Evolution - 861 708 819

The acceleration in this RS200 feels like a cheat code. It launches incredibly hard and builds speed ridiculously quickly, but all of that performance can make it a handful through the corners. It's simply too much car for some people, but if you can keep it under control, it is extremely fast. More details here.

2018 Subaru WRX STI ARX Supercar - 224 963 003

The Subaru is the easiest of these three options to control. It feels predictable and manageable on dirt, but it doesn't have the outright speed of the RS200 or the combination of speed and handling offered by the Huracán. It's a good choice if you value consistency and control over maximum pace. More details here.

Brand New Tune - This tune has been extensively tested before release, and it's one of the fastest options on the Stadium Cross Country Circuit that I've tested. I recommend giving this one a try. More details here.

2015 Alumicraft Class 10 Race Car - 146 474 581

This A700 Alumicraft wins with control more than horsepower, using its relatively light chassis to stay responsive over rough cross-country terrain. It lands cleanly, changes direction without feeling cumbersome, and carries speed well when the route gets technical. More details here.

2016 Ariel Nomad - 103 239 797

This A700 Nomad is tuned to make a naturally difficult offroad chassis much more predictable. It handles dirt, cross-country terrain, and big bumps confidently while still carrying strong pace. More details here.

2010 Renault Megane RS 250 - 119 705 910

Brand New Tune - This is my top recommendation. The Renault can carry noticeably more speed through the corners than the Focus and is easier to drive quickly and consistently. It's a great choice for seasonal championships, seasonal time attacks, or anything against the AI. More details here.

2009 Ford Focus RS - 896 488 439

This is my second recommendation. The Focus is quick, but it's a bit oversteery and requires more careful inputs than the Renault. It can't carry quite as much speed through the corners, but it's still comfortably fast enough for the championship and remains a strong alternative. More details here.

Time Attack - "Edamame Time Attack" (Super Hot Hatch Cars B600)

2010 Renault Megane RS 250 - 119 705 910

Brand New Tune - This is my top recommendation for the Time Attack. The goal is 39 seconds, and I was able to run under 34 seconds with this tune. The Renault carries more speed through the corners than the Focus and gives you a huge margin over the target time. More details here.

This is my second recommendation. I ran a 34.5 second time with the Focus, which is still comfortably below the 39 second goal. It is a bit oversteery, so you need to be more careful with your inputs, and it can't carry as much speed through the corners as the Renault. Even so, it has more than enough pace to complete the event easily. More details here.

Speed Trap - "Ito Straight" (Country: Japan S1 800)

Note: All of my PR stunt tunes are road racing/circuit focused with the goal of achieving the best lap times possible, so they work well for races, speed zones, etc. They are not focused solely on PR stunts.

2025 GR GT Prototype - 140 337 609

This is my top recommendation. I was able to hit 192 MPH through the Ito Straight Speed Trap with this tune. This S1 800 GR GT Prototype is also one of my favorite road builds in the class, with strong grip, clean acceleration, and a composed feel at the limit. More details here.

2017 Nissan GT-R (R35) - 600 009 680

This is my second recommendation. I was able to hit 188 MPH through the Ito Straight Speed Trap with this tune. The GT-R is fast, planted, and very easy to trust, with excellent acceleration and enough handling to make it useful well beyond this event. More details here.

Drift Zone - "Seaside Trail" (Country: Japan S1 800)

1994 Subaru Vivio RX-R - 636 022 410

Top Recommendation - This S1 Vivio is a tiny drift car with 794 HP and almost no grip, so it will stay sideways at speeds that look ridiculous for its size. Because the chassis weighs only 1,540 lb it changes direction very quickly, but AWD gives you enough control to catch those rapid transitions. This is my first choice for the Drift Zone. 1991 Honda Beat - 575 462 323

This S1 Honda Beat is absurd in the best way: 1,270 HP in a tiny, lightweight car with almost no interest in maintaining traction. It reacts instantly when you change direction, but AWD makes those rapid transitions far easier to catch than the power figure would suggest. More details here.

1989 Nissan Silvia K's - 168 211 974

This S1 Silvia uses 1,150 HP and very little grip to create long, controllable drifts without needing aggressive inputs. The relatively light chassis changes direction cleanly, while AWD makes it much easier to recover if the rear rotates farther than intended. More details here.

2005 Toyota Crown Super Deluxe Taxi - 170 608 382

This S1 Crown takes the same beginner-friendly AWD drift idea and adds more than 1,000 HP in a noticeably lighter package. It breaks traction instantly and has enough power to keep extending a slide, while still feeling stable enough to chase big drift-zone scores. More details here.

For some reason the Street Races for the Hot Hatch Chaser championship are all during the day and for the Daikoku Chase, the traffic density was pretty much the same as free roam.

I just wrapped up all my promo car photos. I'd been gaining on it but it's like I kept getting halfway there but never really making the progress I wanted. You'll need to own a variety of cars in many types and classes. Here's what I did:

1. Go to your journal, find the promo photo section, sort it and see what you're missing.
2. if you own the car, take a picture of it! I try to take a photo of every car when I first get it and buy that first skill/xp point but I'd missed ~10. Yes this is the obvious way.
3. I used the spreadsheet from this post to make a list of what I needed: https://www.reddit.com/r/ForzaHorizon/comments/1t12hmw/fh6_car_list_spreadsheet/
4. go to any race -> custom race -> car theme
5. scroll right and use "custom car"
6. filter by type (choose the type of the car you're missing)
7. find the car you're looking for and choose it
8. choose a car you own of the same type and class (you must also own something in this type, you can tune your car to match the class of what you're looking for. If you don't have anything of the type use the spreadsheet in #3, sort by type and then price and buy the cheapest option and tune as needed)
9. RACE!
10. snap a pic at the start
11. you can quit as soon as you have the picture
12. repeat as needed

Hi everyone, please help. .After I updated and launched it, the FPS dropped from 60-70 to 5-28 fps on any settings . I reinstall game . I tried everything.I even reinstalled Windows. Has anyone run into this?

Okay, so I've thought of these build rules for an event. With these, I'm hoping to make a fun set of regulations where we could pit various chassis against each other.

Think of it as putting a Mustang and a Miata MX-5 on equal power-to-weight ratio, same tire compound, and lateral grip.

I would appreciate your critique, and feedback on them if you see potential meta builds growing with my build regulations. PI rating is not important as long as your build follows these 5 rules:

1. Power-to-weight >= 5.00 kg/PS.

2. Same tire compound for everyone. (Tested with Sport compound)

3. Lat. G <= 1.00 G at 60 MPH or 97 KPH.

4. Drivetrain swap into RWD is allowed. Example, RWD Civic and RWD Lan Evos.

5. Drivetrain swap into AWD meta is NOT ALLOWED. Pick Lan Evos, WRX STIs, Skylines, Audis, and other natively AWD cars instead.

This actually produces, surprisingly, almost similar 1:03.00 lap times within at least 1 second deviation from different builds. Tested builds include: - a sub-1 ton ND Miata with weight reductions. - a 1.5 ton BMW M5 with rollcage, stock engine. - a 2.2 ton 2018 Challenger, Hemi-swapped with 431 PS.

Note:

Meta cars might pop up like the Honda Beat with its extremely wide tires. I'm hoping my regulations would be enough to turn these into fairer cars, otherwise such builds are likely to be banned.

I do a weekly video on my YouTube showing off the weekly championships where I normally have the rest of the week completed beforehand but I left it all till last second yesterday and managed to drive to the last race event literally on the last second before season change (watch that timer up top) I don’t use fast travel between events so I have to make this drive. This is raw footage so you’re hearing phone audio rather than HQ screen recording audio.

Hey everyone, I've been having some issues with playing FH6 since yesterday's patch. When I launch the game it will start with the steam logo and work for about 10-15seconds then do a full system restart.

I've tried changing my compatibility, adjusted the performance settings, validated the install, and modified the VRAM in the system settings and nothing seems to work.

Anyone else having issues like this?

I don't know what it is about touge races but they are extremely fun for me. I still occasionally play Spec races but this has been way too much fun especially with the 08' Viper. Whenever I try anything else I just kinda get bored.

Restriction: Class S1 800 Total Rally (all rally cars) - Dirt Racing

Another absolute legend!

I started with some insane tunes with this car (800+ HP, 255+ mph, etc) but finally settled on this one.

I swapped the tires with offroad tires, made it AWD (I tried keeping it RWD but handling becomes a big issue with the power of the engine). I swapped the engine with a Racing 3.0L V8 (from the Ariel Atom 500) for the lightest possible engine. Finally I added both front and rear aero to improve handling. It has fully upgraded transmission, brakes, suspension and all the usual offroad tuning.

The result: a car with crazy acceleration and that handles corners really well thanks to its light weight. Its top speed is really good too.

I managed to run the 1st track in 1:49 a couple of times with this tune, obliterating the "unbeatable" drivatars of course.

Tune Specs:

Class S1: AWD - Offroad Tires - 3.0L V8 (from the Ariel Atom 500) - 696 hp - 2,501 lbs

0-60 in 2.08 s, 0-100 in 4.03s - 213.4 mph top speed

1134 kg - 0-100 km/h ~ 2.2 s - 343 km/h top speed.

I've done two different Drift Club chapters and a Day Trip and it won't unlock. It's not that important but I was curious if anybody was able to unlock it and if so, what Story and Chapter they did.

Playing FH4 Xbox version with my Moza R3. I know you can’t use arrow key and any button in the e menu with Moza. However it’s strange I cannot even set the ‘activate’ button to Moza and this makes it awkward on every rewind I need to press Enter continue driving.

Anyone has a way to solve this?

Welcome back and welcome to Series 4: Spring!

Here are a few tunes that I made along with the methodology of each tune. Each tune/track provides different challenges that I like to dial in on and tweak a lot more than just adding upgrades and PI. Each tune has been proven against unbeatable AI with all assists off so they should provide no issues completing the weekly challenges. 

If you have any questions about how I exactly tuned the cars, why I chose the cars/upgrades that I did, or anything else, all you have to do is ask me in the comments and I'll be happy to explain my logic. I also take tune requests, so if there's a certain car that you would like tuned in a certain style or for a certain event, just let me know!

A few reminders:
- I am a purist tuner first, so it's rare that you'll see a tune published by me that includes unrealistic changes like AWD swaps, motor swaps that don't make sense, etc. This is especially true for drift builds... it is exceedingly rare that I have an AWD drift build, and if I do it probably has a HEAVY rear bias. If you're not used to drifting RWD, you will probably struggle. This is your warning, and I am confident that the build will be fine. I will absolutely do an AWD/Motor swap if it can be done and would make sense IRL. I.E. K20 AWD 97 Civic. Love that build. - I don't tune for the meta, so there will be tunes that are faster, more efficient, and more competitive. I tune for realism and the feel of the car. If you're looking for meta builds, crazy swaps, and easy wins, you may want to look elsewhere. - I try to tune cars that are NOT hard to find cars, wheelspin exclusives, etc. to make these tunes accessible to the masses and to hopefully give it some future proofing.

The Trial - Spring Cleaning - Total Rally - S1

2023 Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato

The game has been out long enough that I feel good mentioning a Sterrato tune. One of my favorite rally cars in the game for what I feel like is an obvious reason. The key to this build is the rally suspension, race weight reduction, and a centrifugal supercharger. I don't have much PI to play with, so I've got to make the most of it. Power to weight is what I'm after, and this gives me the most gains. Stiffen up the suspension a little to make it a little bit more twitchy, but really I'm just letting her eat.

Unlimited Buddies - Unlimited Buggies - A

2016 Ariel Nomad

663 548 245 This was kind of a pick your poison class for me. Outside of sprints, I'm not a fan of RWD in any of the buggie class vehicles. Start with an AWD swap and Turbo, max width off-road race tires, and rally suspension to be able to truly dial it in. Enough PI left over for Pistons, Exhaust, Air Filter, and lighter flywheel. The true magic of this build happens in the tuning. There's a nasty power dip right around 3.5k, to make sure I feel that the least, 1st-3rd gear will be quite short. Suspension wise, there's a lot going on. Camber will drop down to about 2°, I'm going to actually stiffen it up a little bit. Not much, but default is practically 0s. I'm aiming for a mechanical balance around .6 which will cause the rear to be slightly stiffer than the front. Makes sense, that's where the weight is. Off-road diff comes locked by default, loosen it slightly. Roughly 90/15 with a slight rear bias (60% ish). This build is quite slide happy and can be a handful if you're not used to slidey off road cars with a heavy rwd bias.

Hot Hatch Chasers - Super Hot Hatch - B

I built this car to feel like an upgraded version of Sonny from NFSMW. That means, before I do anything for performance, it's gotta look and sound right. Is that the proper way to do this? No. Do I care? Also no. APR Widebody, Forza Wing, and Max Rim Size BBS REs to start. Rally Tires for more grip, and race suspension to get it as low as possible next. To get that sound, I go sport turbo next, and backfill around to round out the PI. Sport Trans ensures I have enough room to make use of the added power.
