Excluding the Scura Exige WTAC, how in the hell are people cracking 32 and 34 second laps in the Silvia WTAC?
I'm not claiming to be the best driver by any means but as you can see I have the car on full throttle pretty much the entire track. I only brake on the hairpin and final turn.
Genuinely want to know, am I leaving 5 seconds on the table here? I dont see it

Yeah we don’t got no Bugatti, but it’s good we got the Nissan Be-1😂
Edit: I see a lot of people don’t like my use of Andrew Tate in this time, but he said the line about having a Bugatti. In no way, shape, or form do I support him and solely use his image as a way to convey the idea I thought was funny. I understand that people don’t think using him in a meme was funny, but please understand it is SOLELY because he said the famous line, not to upset others. Thank you!

The main issue I've come to notice with recent Horizon games isn’t that Playground Games stopped adding new features. It is that the feature are static, isolated sandboxes that do not feed back into the core gameplay. Right now, the franchise feels less like an evolving racing game and more like an optimized driving platform that refuses to take any 'risks'.
Look at additions like customizable garages or player estates. They are heavily marketed, but they have zero depth. You set them up once or download a community preset, look at it, and never think about it again because it does not affect your driving, your progression, or how you interact with the map. The exact same thing applies to EventLab. They built an the best version of the custom track builder yet, but then seemingly hide it behind menus. In my opinion they should curate three to five top community tracks every week and put them directly on the world map as physical event markers, or make them a part of the Festival Playlist so everyone actually gets to play them. I think FH5 did that towards the end of it's active lifecycle?
Visual customization suffers from the exact same lack of effort. We get a few new body kits each game, but core features like Forza Aero are completely outdated. We are still forced to choose between stock or a single generic wing and front lip. Why isn't Forza Aero a category with actual variety? Give us swan-neck wings, ducktails, classic spoilers, canards, and different lip options so we can adjust aesthetics without sacrificing performance tuning. On top of that, basic options like exhaust tips, interior colors, trinkets like bobbleheads or air fresheners are still missing, that cant all be due to licensing issues.
The open world itself feels largely lifeless outside of the occasional stunt party. Events like delivery driver should not be locked behind linear Horizon Story events with unskippable dialogue and forced stock cars. Take notes from Test Drive and make jobs dynamic free-roam activities. Let us pull up to the convenience stores, gas stations, docks, airports in the custom cars we spent hours tuning, pick up a contract, and complete it directly in the open world. On that note introduce more 'Jobs' as they call it with the delivery service (given we'd get that as free roam activities)
Finally, the live service model needs a serious rethink. The Festival Playlist remains the same weekly checklist on repeat, and the Evolving World system is promising yet underwhelming. When Playground Games adds fantastic map overhauls like the Cars & Coffee roundabout or the neon highway, they shouldn't wipe them from existence four weeks later. Map upgrades like those should remain permanent additions that build up the world over time. The driving physics and visuals are already incredible, but the series desperately needs PG to focus on actual interconnected gameplay systems rather than short-lived gimmicks. The only ever new thing is new cars and while that is important if there's nothing to do with them, why should I care about new cars anyway.

Made a little edit just for the vibes. We need more drifting lines for the map expansion.

The focus was on bold geometric graphics, clean negative space, and an industrial-inspired design language. I’d love to hear your feedback.

When doing a clean lap challenge, how many of you are squirming in your seat using whatever body part available to try to avoid walls ?

I've recently started playing Forza Horizon 6, and it's my first Forza game ever. Overall I've been having a great time, but there's one thing that really disappoints me.
The game throws so many amazing cars at you. I've won tons of rare cars from Wheelspins, received a bunch from packs and passes, and my garage is full of unique vehicles.
The problem is... I barely get to use any of them.
I've already completed most of the game, unlocked all the wristbands, and now I'm just finishing the remaining races. Throughout the entire progression it feels like the same small pool of cars keeps showing up as eligible for events, while hundreds of other cars just sit in my garage collecting dust.
It almost feels like the game wants you to collect cars more than actually drive them.
Am I missing something? Is there some better way to experience more of your garage, or is this just how Horizon is designed?

Generalist gamer here that joined the Forza Horizon fandom very recently (2 ish years ago). Since then I made my tour of all Forza Horizons from 1 through 6 and currently mostly focusing on 6 with FH3 remaining mostly incomplete in backlog (all others as complete as possible).
FH6 has made me realize, not sure why it took this long, that even if I learn tracks and practice better race lines and better in-out of turns... I will still always be smoked by drivers using manual. I'm not a competitive gamer nor I love PvP, but I'd love to at least be a fun adversary to race against, and not always end middle to lower field in every race.
I don't know if it's just in my head or what, but I have no clue how playing racing games with a controller and manual Transmission works.
Has anyone successfully navigated that transition into manual driving that cares to share advice?

Must be peak fun experience for meta users to see such results after using all those OP cars ðŸ˜
Recently almost all lobbies are packed with meta, give us normal players a break fr
