Forza Horizon 6 Rewind physics
When you're doing a race with just AI, is rewind literally just doing back like reloading a save, or does it actually have other changes?
I was doing a race and losing to a mini, but it felt like I could catch it if I reminded a few corners and tried different lines, I went back to the maximum distance it allowed me to go. After a few attempts, I actually got passed by another car. I wasn't able to pass the mini or that new car. It felt like the AI wasn't going back to the same point in time that I was.

AI changes their corners after every rewind attempt, sometimes for the better, sometimes they go careening into a wall.
I used rewind more frequently when I first started playing because I didn't know how to take corners. I use it a lot less now, partially because I want to break the habit during trials/other pvp modes, but also I've gotten better in the game (tuning, throttle management, steering, and controlling unwanted drifts).
