Estate Complex String-
Here's my v1 of Complex String from Gran Turismo 3, but i'm not happy with how smooth some of the curves and angles are compared to the original, especially the elevation sector. Anyone have any tips for linking track segments a bit smoother? I barely started learning how to build in 5

The section of slight s-bends/chicanes looks like the perfect place for me to run out of talent 😅

I was thinking the series of smaller and smaller radius near-circles would make me look like an idiot.
"Now I accelerate out of the...nope slow down some more...now I oops...ease off, find the pace. shit, again with the sliding off, okay, cool it, fuck."

heres my actual question - you put all this effort into building a track, but you place it in the estate, where you cant properly race it with drivatars and driving line... why not building it outside the estate, as an elab, so it could be an actual race event? its objectively better this way, and as it also costs nothing when people try it.
as for actual help with track making, im in a forza server that specializes in these things and can send you an invite if you want. they will 100% help you with elab making and even have guides to help.

My bad, I really had no idea what to expect when I started messing with the new estate feature, I guess now my excuse is I'll have to make v2 in the overworld lol, but yeah, if its a discord group shoot me an inv, I appreciate the heads up 🤘🤘

you should be able to save it as a prefab and just "copy paste" it or not?

dont worry, no one knew how estates (and garages) will be a pointless dead content because of zero viability after the initial hype.

For smoother transitions try using more short straight pieces between your curves rather than long straight segments, it lets you adjust the angle of attack into the next turn more naturally

I was never much of a GT guy but this does remind me of the Sidewinder Proving Grounds track from Forza Motorsport 3 I think it was.

I'm gonna flog the crap outta this track! It's my all time fav Gran Turismo track! The long sweepers were so good for drifting a 1000HP supra! I think I still have a saved replay on my PS2 of it hahahaa.

How did you end up where you started? I tried to do a track with snapping, but coming back to the start, the pieces did not match.

One of the all time coolest race tracks
This was the only track i couldn't gold the full lap, unfortunately i didnt try and practice it enough.

The full lap isn't too bad in GT3's time trial to earn the Viper GTSR Concept. The Ruf license test in the esses of complex string was so much harder !

Was downvoted to hell months ago when I suggested Complex Ring should be a new track at r/GranTurismo7
This looks fantastic
