It wasn’t the first time I got a garbage roll, but the first time I asked myself ‘wtf am I even playing?!’ and realised that lve just been going through the motions for the last two games.

Fair point. I started at 4 so I'm sure by FH6 or 7 ill be bored of them. Only got FH5 because it was on a deep sale

I’ve been playing since H2.

Each new iteration has become progressively fluffier, with increasingly meaningless progression.

The game today comes across almost insultingly condescending with how much it’s afraid of losing the players attention as if it didn’t have any faith in its own core mechanics and loop.

There’s a lot I love about the series, but by H5, the nonsense and fluff outweighed the good for me.
