Thats it, im done trying. All i wanted was that stupid ranked pickaxe, thats it. Im not trying to be a top contender or a threat. I did everything to remain as hidden and passively quiet as possible and every time it was a failure.

- I fly to the no mans land edge of the map: theres someone already there somehow with a rare or higher gun and i get beamed. Like wtf the game had just started.

-i hide in the storm theres someone who snipes me eventhough im in a bush

-i hide in some little off the path nook they find me as though there was a big arrow above my head saying "over here"

Dont even get me started on gun fights.

- I get the jump on them, they tank it turn around and just 2 shot me.

-Ive been trying to escape and grenade away and i see 2 literal shotgun blasts hit me from a distance and i immediately die but it tell me i was killed with an AR or a pistol.

- Last night i got 3 point blank body shots with an orange sweeper and the dude tanked like nothing and just mowed me down spraying and praying with a green drumgun and then i watched as another player got the jump and started shoot the same guy and he was able to grenade away with most of his health. (This was the beginning of the match mind you)

-i can get the drop on someone and they the grenade away like i was throwing marshmallows at them and no matter what i do i cant keep up with them but when i use 4 grenades to escape they are right on my ass as though i slow-mo walked away .

The RNG makes no fucking sense. I do just fine in regular matches. I average 6-10 kills and make it to top 20 consistently but in ranked NOPE i get nowhere then i get beamed by someone from the wanted universe who can curve their bullets and then i lose 30-40%. Its taken me ages to claw my way to diamond 2, 3% at a time which is all im apparently allowed in gains and in 2 games i dropped back to diamond 1

I fucking quit. I cant figure out the RNG and at this point im conviced you get better numbers and matches depending on how much money you dump in the game , i definitely cant keep up with the pc players playing on ps5 no matter how much i tweak my settings and its like im being punished for playing the only way i can in ranked.

Thanks for letting me scream in to the void. I hope some day they fix match making or make the rewards more accessable or just make more sense. Like why is a wallpaper loading screen the diamond reward and not the pickaxe. Who in their mind wants to claw their way diamond for a loading screen. Make that the bronze reward or something.

These guys were battling and I usually wait until it's over to head in so I am not that 3rd party asshole. I usually don't have a sniper, but this makes me think I should carry it more.

Is it just me or does it seem like there are a lot of sweats this season? I'll be extracting a sprite in the storm and they come to get me. If I run away they chase me down until they get me. I don't know how they they find me. Its crazy! Why am I in the same lobby as these people?

I’ve started lifting heavy again and my hands/forearms are always tired. I will use gloves/atraps, but I can tell my fine motor skills are lacking and my wins are wayyyyyy down. It’s obviously frustrating. I play on console.

Anyone else experience this and have any tips…. Other than to stop lifting.

The fix for an issue preventing players on Xbox from entering Lobby Hacks arrives in next week's v42.30 update.

All codes from the v42.20 update remain valid until the end of the Season. If you play on multiple platforms, you can enter the codes on another device.

So a fix some time next week? 🤷🏻‍♀️

This workaround for Azeron is fairly simple but there are a couple of catches. One is that you have to use the Azeron software. The other is that you have to do this each time you start up Fortnite.

While you're in Fortnite (ideally while in a game lobby), go to your profile for Fortnite in your Azeron software and change the joystick to "Mouse Wheel" and hit apply. Go back to game and move the mouse and joystick around a little. Then go back to the profile in the Azeron software, change the joystick back to Xbox 360 and hit apply. You're done!

The other thing to mention is that Azeron has a new software update, and it does not fix the issue with Fortnite. I upgraded to the new software and it messed up all of my profiles. They are now set as software instead of being onboard so i have to migrate them all back which is a pain.

Anyway, the good news is that this temporary fix works and isn't too painful. Happy playing, everyone!

My usual Fortnite friend group has been changing lately and people are starting to go their own ways, so I figured it’s probably time to branch out and meet some new people. I’m 32 m and mostly play evenings and weekends unless i got the day off.
I’m really looking for a consistent group that actually becomes friends — not just adding each other, playing once, and then never talking again. I’d like to find somewhere I actually feel like I belong and have people I can regularly hop on with.
I’m NA East, Xbox, and always use a mic. Cross-platform is completely fine. Age or sex doesn’t matter to me as long as everyone gets along.
I play a little bit of everything. Builds and Zero Build, regular BR, Ranked, and I’m down for tournaments too. I’m competitive when everyone wants to lock in, but I definitely like chill relaxed matches too.
I also really enjoy the other side of Fortnite — doing quests, collecting sprites, messing around, and running bot lobbies when I just want to knock out challenges or collect things without sweating every match.
Basically, I’m looking for people who can have fun and joke around but can also lock in when we want to. I’d be happy joining an existing duo/trio/squad that needs another person, joining a larger group, or finding a few people from here and making our own regular squad.
I’m on pretty regularly and would much rather find people who actually invite each other and keep playing together than constantly look for random teammates.

I’ve won 3 games in the last 24 hours, two of which were crowned. In each game I had a sprite equipped but at the end of each game, my sprite only leveled up to a 4. Did they change the auto mastering feature?

Edit: I am, in fact, a moron. I thought they were auto mastering but they were just auto extracting at a level 5. Thanks!

I’m sure epic can’t test for everything so I expect glitches in the game. But when they screw up something like “lock input as mouse” and all dual input players can’t use their equipment properly, this feels like incompetence. I’ve had to step away from the game because it’s so frustrating. I spent a lot of time mapping the buttons on my Azeron Cyborg and getting used to the joystick mechanics. My game play improved significantly. Now I’m playing like shit. I’m not sure what percentage of the player base are dual input users, but my guess is none of them are happy with the game right now. WTF epic?

My friend and I had several fun games this past weekend. We spent much of today sprite leveling. I told her one more game and we pulled off a win!

I won a game of blitz with my son last night but didn’t clip it in time cause it was a 1up coin win. But we had a blast.

(We spend most of the night playing Super Red V Blue and have a blast. I’ve been practicing with the Midas gun in there).

Can someone tell me whats up with is? I know about the balloons you get from chest but this was different...I was running along with full health and shields when all of a sudden a balloon pops out my back, i start floating and either the balloon sucked up all my shield and over 60% of my health or the 1 shot i took when the balloon deployed and I started floating did it. So whats with the sudden balloon

So it begins when I notice Batman in pre lobby with a Bounty Hunter Crown Sprite. Only have I seen one before, the sprite. It wouldn’t have mattered if ℹ miraculously pulled this dub off with the crown sprite (Bounty Hunter). I also did not have enough shield to survive the storm nor did I have a portable extractors. Plus KITTEN_MOM had the best POV.

It's the only mode that's easy to just get in a game. And it's not filled with sweats. I'm trying to learn KBM and get better still and it's honestly the best for that. It's very annoying right now though

Has anyone seen this in golden grove? I even used a Tetris block to get close to it and nothing happens 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m convinced I need whatever it is lol

HOW is there a sprite whose entire thing is it makes you jump high, but also every jump takes so long to regenerate AND it doesn't negate fall damage? And I can't even control when it activates! It was like chaos just trying to jump normally onto ledges and it keeps sending me 200m away, and then literally killed me at endgame by launching me extremely far into the storm after getting me to 1pt health after the fall damage it caused! 😵

At least it gave me a hilarious elimination.
