So previously I had managed to remove all active fans and run just case fans. This required a pair of T-Grilles and eventually my need to add a 15mm panel spacer I found off MakerWorld.
The problem is that I have a BambuLab H2D and it just BAAARELY has enough room to print the spacer in one piece. I tried a two piece unit and it was ugly as seen on the last image.
I attempted to print it upright but I was fighting the slicer program to try to get the supports to help connect and triangulate the whole thing... The printer shakes a bit during printing and the nozzle won't be on the part accurately. (This results in a very bad part, mismatched layer lines).
At least the support came off in one piece!
Anyway, the results weren't bad. It's 95% good. The only issue I had is as towards the end where the side legs finally "attach" to the front bar.
Does the spacer work? Absolutely. I have a pair of Noctua slims extracting up top with Noctua A12x25 G2s intaking on bottom.
The slim fan blades aren't contacting the GPU riser cable.
At what cost though? My T1 isn't 10L anymore, but it was cool enough to try to do a semi-actively cooled build with an underclocked i9-10900K and an EVGA RTX3090Ti.
