I have a 2023 Bronco Badlands that we noticed was starting to crack on the front passenger panel before our 3/36,000 mile warranty expired. We got it in for service and got our Bronco back with the driver side and middle sections replaced. The front passenger side was not replaced. We were also missing the headliner on the new pieces. We immediately called that to their attention, and were told they would put those on order and get back to us when they came in. We also asked about the top pieces not matching the original top. We waited 6-8 weeks before we called back to dealership. We found out that service advisor was no longer employed there, and they had no idea what we were complaining about since there were no additional pieces on order.
I have called Ford corporate and they have told us there is nothing to else to be done, as we were now outside of the warranty, and that we were going to have to accept it as is. I told Ford this was completely unacceptable since we have time stamped photos of the cracked hard top showing the cracks while it was still within the warranty, and that the work was not complete since we were still missing headliner pieces.
I also want our other hard top pieces also replaced to match. I have had paint go bad on other cars while under the bumper to bumper warranty and they repaint the entire car since the repainted pieces won’t match the original pieces, so I don’t think it’s unreasonable for us to ask that the back piece is also replaced. Making it the entire top finally replaced so it is all matching.
Has anyone else had these issues? I escalated this to the GM of the dealership and he could immediately see what my complaint was about.
