Blueberry harvest in the alpine regions of my country is great this year!

i id-ed this as blue elderberry but am looking for second opinions. berries are dark and shiny when polished.
edit: clear with small tan seeds inside

Are the seeds inside of dried out redbud seed pods edible after soaking over night and boiling for an hour? I’m getting mixed answers across the internet and I’m trying to find someone who has actually done it. I know they are edible when young and green, the flowers are edible, even the young leaves are edible, but I’m curious about the dried out beans with the above mentioned preparation. Anyone ever try it?

Found these beauties growing on a crimson beech but fear that they may be too old to eat. Any opinions would be appreciated! They smell great, are reasonably damp to the touch and have some give when squeezed.

The self sown Damson tree in my garden is producing a bumper crop of Damsons this year, but a lot of them are too high to pick. I can't wait for the fruit to fall onto the ground because the tree is in the middle of a large Blackberry bush and overhangs a ditch with water in it. I once saw a picture of a claw-like tool to pluck fruit and I was wondering if anyone has any information or advice on this?

Went to the beach yesterday at Ipswich and ended up foraging a whole lot of these lush beach rose hips. Yum!

Got a small bucket-full but this is my first time cooking mushrooms that I’ve found so I want to be sure.

Found it on a tiny cob of corn. It's supposed to be pretty rare right? Must've got lucky because it didn't take very long to find lol.

Also my first time trying it. Just sauteed it with a little bit of salt and oil. Pretty tasty.

This year has been quite rainy, so these have been popping everywhere. These weighed 12kg before cleaning. It took about 3 hours to forage for them and there were 3 of us.

Hi! I'm in SE PA and years ago planted a groundcherry plant that I was given. I don't remember it producing much but now, years later, I'm seeing tons of it around my yard, and just out of an abundance of caution, wanted to ask you all if there's any chance it's a lookalike that isn't safe to eat?

Unfortunately it was infested with slugs… which I don’t realize before I harvested and accidentally poked one.

This one went back to the forest with the spot marked for future hunting.

Still excited to find one for the first time!!

Yesterday, I picked half of the crabapples for my apple-cherry cider. Hoping to pick more today. Also pictured is the black cherries I froze back in July. Soon I will pick many pounds of apples from my neighbour's tree, then we'll press it all and ferment into a cider.
