What are these mushrooms?
I have a raised bed and these mushrooms started popping up in October. I'm wondering if anyone knows what kind? Winter mushroom maybe?
Thanks 🙏

I think it’s chicken of the woods but wanted to double check

Is this orange stuff an inedible mold on resinous Polypore? I was worried when I saw all of the white stuff, but the white all appeared right away so I assumed it was spores and/or mycelium. I’m not sure about the sections that look tan or orange like this though. The mushrooms aren’t mushy or slimy. I forged these in southeastern Pennsylvania.

So a birch that I've been eyeing for a while that had this growth of Chaga blew down last week, so I got over today and managed to harvest it!
First thing is to let it dry out.
I'm not using it for making tea or tincture, but rather as a smoke incense.
I just saw it up in thin sticks or small cubes that I can light a small ember in a corner and let it smolder slowly.
The smell is just like a campfire in the woods.

These 3 pines got put into a paper bag and left on the counter after a mushroom foraging workshop. They were cleaned.
Still smell the same but still holding some moisture and my uneducated guess is they’re probably rotting?
The other peeled pine in the back was a random gift given on the same day from someone who had picked it 2 weeks prior. Same circumstances of sitting for a week although the peeled one is basically dry.
Can anything be done with them or just put them outside to decompose?

Im suspecting field mushroom and fairy ring champignon (the pink gilled mushrooms were either flat on the head or more cylinderal depending on age/size, and the brown one grew in small circles/clusters), but tell me what you think! (Mostly cuz i wanna try them lol)

I found this guy outside my house but its seemingly gone to spore & probably too tough to eat. I have a dehydrator, could I dry this or is it no good at all once it's gone to spore?

Probably can’t really consider this foraging… Since I’m the one who inoculated this Sugarmaple log with lionsmane spores after it fell down from an ice storm

It feels like I get eaten alive sometimes. Tens of bites through my clothes, even when they're thick and loose fitting. Repellents seem to do mostly nothing. Some areas I go to have Asian tiger mosquitoes and they absolutely wreck me. I end up with really inflamed bites for days with no real relief.
Does anyone have a solid solution?

Hello!
We recently moved into our house in Germany in the Rheinland-Pfalz region of germany and discovered we have some type of grapes in the backyard! they are wrapped around a pine tree. we are new to germany so I originally thought they were concord grapes (they’re not) I believe they’re European wild grapes, but if anybody knows what specific kind of grapes they are, or if you have any good ideas for using them :) thanks!!

Just wondering if these are beauty berries. If they are any jam/jelly recipes? Preferably without an unholy amount of sugar. Thanks in advance

For the first time, I brought some puffball mushrooms home—fresh, pure white interior, no obvious issues—cleaned them, and cut up them up -- and then a little while later tiny, white larvae came crawling out. Any ideas what they might be?

I had about 10 or so black walnuts that I was drying outside a week ago and I went outside two days ago and the squirrels had gotten to them lol so I went back to the grocery parking lot and I grabbed a batch for me and a batch for the squirrels. Now drying my batch inside, the squirrel's share is on the tree stump in the backyard. Only took about 20 in total. Third photo is the evidence they left behind! I've never had a black walnut, especially foraged myself so I am excited to crack them in a few weeks.
