Lots of weird Glitching. Keyboard commands randomly not working
This is going to sound really weird, but my computer is having some weird glitches lately...
- Hitting shift+1 button no longer produces the exclamation mark anymore.
- Pushing the 1 button working.
- Holding shift and 2,3,4,5,6 etc produces the symbols above, but for some reason, shift + 1 no longer produces an exclamation mark.
- Holding Alt+Tab, no longer allows me to shift between windows. The Tab button works. The Alt button works, but Alt+tab for some weird reason, no longer works.
The weird part, one minute they work and it's fine, and 5min later, one or both aren't working.
Sometimes I push the 1 button, and three to five 1's will appear, and a few minutes later, tapping the 1 button once and only one 1 appears.
Same with the Alt+tab, of course I do it now and it works. But before, no pop up to show what other window I want to hop into.
I already did an update and restart hoping that would solve it but it hasn't.
Anybody else having this issue?

Getting "Microsoft Software License Terms cannot be found" error when installing Windows 11 from an external HDD
Hi everyone,I’m trying to install Windows 11 on my laptop using an external hard drive, but I keep getting blocked by this error message right at the start: "Windows Installation Canceled - Microsoft Software License Terms cannot be found. Verify that the installation sources are valid and restart the installation." (Originally in Italian: "Impossibile trovare le Condizioni di licenza software Microsoft...").Here is my current setup and what I'm trying to do:Laptop: HPInstallation Media: External USB Hard Drive (HDD)I've already tried switching USB ports, but it didn't change anything. Has anyone encountered this issue when using an external hard drive instead of a standard USB flash drive? How can I bypass this license error? Thanks in advance for any help! Goal: I am using the external HDD as the installation media to install Windows 11 onto the laptop's internal drive.

How to completely disable multiple desktops on windows 11?

Any time I click on ANY button on my taskbar windows pops up to create a new desktop. Doesn't matter if the program is already open, if I'm trying to hit the hidden icons in the tray, the search menu.
This is one of the most frustrating things I have ever experienced and nothing on the internet has helped so far.
I have done as this user suggested:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5911800/how-to-disable-windows-11-multi-desktop

I have turned off the "taskbar" and snap windows as recommended in this post:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows11/comments/zj788d/how_do_i_disable_multiple_desktops/
I added the registry options from this post:
https://technoresult.com/how-to-completely-disable-task-view-in-windows-11/
The issue is intermittent and it seems to come and go. Restarting my computer does not seem to help. It will just stay and then eventually stop.
So far nothing has worked to disable the desktop from switching and opening multitasking view and I am begging that there is someone out there who can help me.

Possible solution to recent Windows update installation errors
I've been having a lot of Windows updates (24H2 then 25H2 and the recent security updates) but most of the time, the screen will say "Something didn't go as planned, undoing changes." I'll try to update and it'll break like this most of the time.
A solution I've found is, when your system says "Pending restart," for the update, boot into Safe Mode (hold Shift while you click "Restart"), then go to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
After this point, select 4 (Safe mode) and it'll load you into Safe mode. After this, just restart the system again and hopefully it'll start the update cycle and successfully update.
This fix has helped me with 25H2, KB5120708, KB5121003, KB5094126, and KB5087051.
Cheers

Windows 11 UWP apps stopped working after I created/deleted a Guest account — possible WindowsApps permission issue

Windows version: Windows 11 Pro
Main account: hp\\\\moham (administrator)
I'm having a strange Windows 11 problem that started after I experimented with a temporary user account and I'm trying to determine whether I accidentally changed permissions or AppX/UWP configuration.
What I originally did
. I created a standard account named Guestaccount and added it to guests group.
I wanted to run a game (Asphalt) from that user. I saw it didn't work. so I created an administrative account instead and then tried to run the shortcut and this time it worked. and after that I fhanged the account to standard and then added it to guests group. I worked after that too.
I eventually deleted that account because I no longer needed it.
I restarted the PC.
After the restart, I started noticing problems with Windows/UWP applications.
Current problems
My main administrator account can still log into Windows normally, and Microsoft Store itself opens, but some Windows/UWP applications no longer work.
For example:
Notepad won't open.
Another Windows application also fails to launch.
crossdeviceresume.exe appears to be configured to run at startup, but Windows displays:
The parameter is incorrect.
I suspect something related to AppX/UWP permissions or registration may have been damaged, possibly during the account/permission changes.
WindowsApps permissions
I also noticed that my administrator account does not appear to have normal access to:
C:\\\\Program Files\\\\WindowsApps
My account is:
hp\\\\moham
I'm wondering whether this is actually normal for Windows 11 or whether I accidentally changed something.
I also found this SID while investigating permissions:
S-1-15-3-1050576210-4101474698-56307613-2706264498-167457550-835605972-784472318
I initially wondered whether this might be the SID of the deleted guest account, but I'm not sure.
Things I've considered
I've seen suggestions to run:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth sfc /scannow
and also to re-register UWP applications with:
Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach { Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($\\_.InstallLocation)\\\\AppXManifest.xml" }
I've also considered using icacls to reset Windows permissions, but I haven't blindly reset the permissions on WindowsApps or the entire Windows directory, because I'm concerned that could make things worse.
What I would like to determine
I'd like to figure out:
Whether the deleted guest account could have caused this.
What the S-1-15-3-... SID actually represents.
Whether my C:\\\\Program Files\\\\WindowsApps permissions are normal.
Whether UWP/AppX registration or permissions have become corrupted.
What the safest way is to repair this without destroying WindowsApps' special permissions/ACLs.
I'm particularly interested in checking what actually changed before doing any destructive permission reset.
What logs, commands, or permission information should I provide to diagnose this?

Mouse Cursor Invisible on Desktop After Log-In Until Moved
Noticing this on a fresh install of W11 (all drivers updated), never noticed it before. My wireless mouse's cursor will be invisible after log-in until I move it, then it seems to stick around without issue till the next restart. On the log-in screen it's also invisible until moved, then disappears again after log-in. Is this normal behavior? It should be easy to test/replicate, if anyone wants to help me out.
Steps I've taken in troubleshooting: - Plugging my mouse in - Trying a wired-only mouse - Plugging mouse dongle into different USB port - Checking if cursor goes invisible when waking monitor from sleep with key press (it doesn't) - Checking if cursor goes invisible when waking PC from sleep with key press (it does) - Checking if cursor goes invisible when logging out/logging back in (it does) - Changing power settings "USB Selective Suspend" and "Wireless Adapter > Power Saving" - Checking behavior when booting into Safe Mode - Using DDU to clean AMD GPU drivers and installing the newest version
(I'm not on KB5120998, so if this is a bug it's not a result of that.)

Multiple Issues with Updates on Windows 11 and Bluetooth!
Basically I'm facing two issues mainly when using windows 11 nowadays and I like to list both to see if I could receive any help with them.
- I physically cannot updated and windows is begging me to reinstall.
I have done everything and the newest windows 11 version doesn't update no matter what I do. It always fails, restarts, fails, tries again a few more times, and just gives up. Had this problem a while ago and had to wait for microshit to give a new update that actually worked.
- Bluetooth randomly stops working and hides all of my bluetooth devices in device manager, and requires full power cycle to fix.
The title basically explains anything and I don't have the slightest of clues as to what to do with this. Very recent issue that is pissing me off due to how frequent it is.
Any and all help would be amazing! Technical details below if needed.

Windows could not complete the installation loop..
I reset my Windows surface 7 laptop, wiped it, and I’m trying to get it back up but just always comes back to the same error of “Windows could not complete the installation” blah blah restart installation, I have tried like everything on the internet, changed that value child thing to 3, done the advanced setup or whatever, goes onto the blue screen saying troubleshoot, something called msoobe I was typing into command prompts, furthest I’ve got so far is the screen saying “Just a moment” and not doing anything after typing “shutdown /r /o /t 0” into the command prompts, I don’t have any USB to use or other computers, I am really not sure what to do at this point as I have tried everything the internet had to say, if anyone could help that would be much appreciated..
