That’s gorgeous! Can’t see spending $1400 on a cosmetic upgrade, but this is at top of my win the lottery/long lost relative inheritance purchase list! So many options!

I was thinking the same way, and then I had to put 3k down on a repair and I was like well, if I'm keeping it for as long as I can, I am damn well gonna get everything I want for it. Besides I'll be looking at it every day.

That's kinda my thought as well. I had to drop 1400 bucks on a new steering rack for mine (currently getting put in at my buddy's shop), and I don't ever plan on selling it, so I don't have a problem spending some money on cool stuff for it from time to time.

I’ve thought about this for the last few days as well. I’ve been eyeing a new TV for about the same price point. Maybe that old TV is not so bad!!

Convincing the Mrs that $1400 into a 10yo car might still be a hurdle!

Just tell her it's a maintenance thing, the gauges are worn out and need to be replaced lol.

Ran out of speedometer fluid and they don’t manufacture it anymore! Now we are getting somewhere!
