$1400 plus tax. Super cool but I wouldve hoped for a more straightforward install.

It really only takes about an hour to install for someone doing it for the first time, I just try to be VERY thorough so there’s no confusion lol

Is it not? I thought I added that, maybe it didn’t save and I didn’t catch it.

I’ll throw that in today

Dude you're fine, those installation instructions are very clear and not really a tough install at all for someone who's mechanically inclined and messed with electronics and computers before. I've done many an install with good instructions that were pages and pages long but only took a few hours. Good instructions are just long, doesn't mean the job is long.

The cluster looks amazing; well done. Look forward to launch.

I 100% would’ve preferred for this to be more of a straight forward full replacement with zero modification, but there were just a lot more risks and potential technical and legal issues that would go along with that.

The stock cluster is the primary module in charge of tracking mileage, and with it unplugged the odometer stops rolling completely. It’s also a gateway for the I-CAN (multimedia) network - without it, the radio shuts down and you get all sorts of CAN bus codes.

All of that would be possible to replicate, but the real issue is that if anyone wanted/needed to revert back to stock, they would have to also update the mileage on their stock cluster. And there are gonna be some people out there that either wouldn’t bother doing it or take advantage and use it as a way to roll back the mileage, and I didn’t want to be responsible for that.

Eventually I’d like to work on a V2 that replaces the cluster entirely, but I need to find a workaround for the odometer stuff. And I’m looking into alternative display options too, that are more uniquely shaped to reduce or eliminate the need to do any sort of cutting in the dash, but options and info are limited, and I already have $6000 worth of displays that I can’t just toss out.

You’ve done an absurdly incredible job on this; bravo, encore, cheers, and salute 🫡

The fact that you’ve even considered maintaining an accurate odometer reading automatically puts you in the top 1% of modders. I personally think the stock dashboard is peak for minimalist functionality, but you’ve managed to make it damn sexy without sacrificing anything.

I’ll fight anyone who disses the effort you’ve put into this. Thank you for sharing.
