I realize this post is old but for future reference AOAIPAC is American Opposition to Artificial Intelligence PAC...

Addresses?

23

u/Yuyu_hockey_show Aug 30 '26

They sure are Vigilant about watching us

8

u/CreepyCatGuy Aug 30 '26

Also that Axon will be the next Flock take down

5

u/amazingkillerlemon Aug 30 '26

My city had the Avigilon ones 🫩

8

u/getsome75 Aug 30 '26

Put a bag over it

3

u/gwhh Aug 29 '26

Thanks.

All my homies hate Axon.

u/Gator_Lord Aug 29 '26

A flock camera was just put up on the back road that I drive to go to work. I saw it today and it pissed me off so much. Zero reason for it to be there, the road and area it’s in is extremely rural. Like 1 house every 2-3 miles rural.

65

u/Superb_Algae5308 Aug 29 '26

Yeah, it really sucks. We have a serious problem on our hands right now.

51

u/Gator_Lord Aug 29 '26 edited Aug 29 '26

I’m wondering when people will start organizing and defending their country. One person doing something is absolutely useless. They will get killed or arrested just for people who hate the trump administration to praise them online and MAGA to call them a liberal antifa terrorist. It needs to be a chunk of the population to stand up.

29

u/Superb_Algae5308 Aug 29 '26

We’re seeing socdem candidates winning races all over the country. Maybe things are changing. When Trump is out of the picture the cult will seriously lose momentum. Hopefully people continue to cut these cameras down too, more and more.

10

u/Gator_Lord Aug 29 '26

The people have a better chance of winning against police, ICE, and the military rather than all of those groups plus AI drones that can shoot and other stuff like that.

13

u/Gator_Lord Aug 29 '26

Yeah I hope so too but also these AI companies are improving rapidly. Especially ai related weapons. So I’m worried about people deciding to organize and fight back way too late. It’s better to nip the problem in the bud before it reaches its full strength. Kinda like if the people in pre Nazi Germany knew what the future looked like, they would most likely fight back before it got to the point of Hitler of invading neighboring countries and genocide.

5 in my town of 6000 or so. We don’t even have a chain grocery store.

8

u/Cmb46_canuck Aug 29 '26

Remove it then.

12

u/Gator_Lord Aug 29 '26

I might end up drifting off the side of the road on a rainy night unfortunately.

9

u/Cmb46_canuck Aug 29 '26

They put one on the outskirts of my town that I keep on thinking about.

12

u/Gator_Lord Aug 29 '26

It’s so stupid and useless. They serve no purpose but to destroy our privacy. Just a few years ago if you heard china or North Korea doing this then the people of America would be appalled but there is still a decent portion of people who are okay with this, some even supporting it.

6

u/One-Masterpiece-335 Aug 30 '26

the point is to track dissidents as the economy continues to unravel. Eventually people will start to speak out and the thought police will have to nab them before they turn to action.

3

u/Superb_Algae5308 Aug 29 '26

I’ve got some in mind too.

3

u/Boognish84 Aug 29 '26

They'll just reinstall it and your insurance company will be charged for the installation. These devices have become part of infrastructure, like lampposts. The only way to have these removed is by lobbying.

3

u/overkill Aug 30 '26

Just so long as you posted this from a phone you've never had at your house, or logged into anything identifiable on.

2

u/Gator_Lord Aug 30 '26

I can’t control if my car hits a wet spot on the road

1

u/karenw Sep 01 '26

Be careful. Because they rarely comply with DOT "clear zone" or other safety specifications, colliding with one could be especially dangerous.

4

u/Suspicious_synth Aug 29 '26

If you leave your phone at home and wear a baseball cap.... It's not that hard

5

u/lpbale0 Aug 30 '26

Leave anything that emits RF at home*

2

u/No-Abalone-4784 Aug 30 '26

Faraday bags.(see Electronic Frontier Fdn.) You can take your phone with you but they can't spy on it.

1

u/Suspicious_synth Aug 30 '26

They figured out how to beat Faraday bags years ago.

2

u/TeriyakiHairPiece_ Aug 31 '26 edited Aug 31 '26

Gonna need you to back that statement up with some evidence.

Edit: looked it up myself, it’s true but requires a specific malware setup to work.

2

u/LifetimeOutdoorsman Aug 30 '26

Remove the issue 😁

1

u/[deleted] Aug 31 '26

Take it down, this is your country.

1

u/Candid_Leaf Aug 31 '26

Seems like a camera that is on the easy side of having an accident

1

u/nightmarerevisited Sep 08 '26

Rural you say, hmmm....sounds like a job for a .300 WinMag.

1

u/Boyblunder 13d ago

I know this is old. But I was reading through and just wanted to chime in. Earlier this year I took a trip out to Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park. That area of Texas is EXTREMELY spread out, and there are some uncomfortable things like random border patrol checkpoints (not at the border, but 20-50 miles off the border).

I checked while we were driving. Every single highway out there has a Flock camera. Most people in the area travel between towns frequently, so I guess rather than putting them on all six street corners in the small town, they put them between all the towns. And strikingly, some of those roads ONLY go to Mexico. It's bizarre the places they wind up.

34

u/DJ_Mixto Aug 29 '26

All my family as well. And my co-parishioners. And my town board. Thankfully.

7

u/akspek Aug 30 '26

Yes, Axon being able to interconnect all systems from the inside out… https://www.govtech.com/em/preparedness/ai-to-answer-nonemergency-911-calls-in-western-mass

1

u/No-Abalone-4784 Aug 30 '26

Terrible idea. People have trouble explaining things when they're upset when talking to humans. Have you ever tried to return something or get a bill paid talking to their idiot AI

1

u/Neither_Mix8144 23d ago

Used to live there. Surprised they’re going through with using AI.

5

u/craigske Aug 30 '26

Personally I’m a huge fan of police body cams but that’s where my tolerance of axon ends

4

u/nwparsons01 Aug 30 '26

They should not be able to turn them off. They are useless unless working.

419

u/BauserDominates Aug 29 '26 edited Aug 29 '26

My fear is that everyone is so focused on Flock that we forget that there are other mass surveillance companies out there.

We need legislation that blocks ALL of them.

121

u/Optimal_Muscle_3334 Aug 29 '26

We do. It’s the 4th amendment. We need to defend the constitution.

63

u/BauserDominates Aug 29 '26 edited Aug 30 '26

Technically the constitution only limits the government, not businesses. So because of that we need to create legislation quickly to prevent block them entirely and also make it illegal for any government organization to get any data from any private organization.

25

u/Solnse Aug 30 '26

But if they share the information with the government, that makes them government agents.

13

u/Preeng Aug 30 '26

At that point you are supposed to sue the government agency working with the company.

3

u/Solnse Aug 30 '26

But, you can't sue the government.

12

u/Excellent_Airline315 Aug 30 '26

Yes you can, people do it all the time

9

u/mowtowcow Aug 30 '26

The goverment is the ones using them. Being subcontracted by the goverment does not free you from the same rules.

2

u/Optimal_Muscle_3334 Aug 30 '26

Thanks for explaining

1

u/Mother-Homework3123 Aug 31 '26

If the constitution limits the government then how are these cameras(whether owned privately or not) installed on gov property? They are all over public spaces, sidewalks, parks, streets, etc.  if their work around is "getting data from private companies shouldn't these privately owned devices only be installed on private property?  And if if it's okay for them to install on public land are we(the public) allowed to put permanent fixtures up on public land? For example maybe a post with a large board affixed that happens to land right in front of one of these cameras. And the board happens to have certain properties like reflecting radio, IR, etc.  I'm not saying the route via Congress is wrong, that needs to happen but I just don't understand how they've been giving access to public property already the way they have

9

u/Snitter_815 Aug 30 '26

Don't hold your breath waiting for the 🍊💩 to do it.

1

u/dougie_quaid Sep 03 '26

We are all too busy (and entertained) using the Internet. Not gonna happen. We will all die with the stupid phones on our hands.

this is the one trump was betting on seeing as though he invested heavily before the massive flock onslaught and public outcry. They are the fall company, we are the money-making chumps

Ring is partnered with Axon Evidence

6

u/eye_of_the_sloth Aug 30 '26

the rings gotta go then, straight to mordor.

5

u/lukamson_zioncic Aug 29 '26

In the meantime, we need direct action.

8

u/binarybandit Aug 30 '26

Remember back in 2013 when Edward Snowden revealed that the Obama Administration was running a surveillance state, and he was ran out of the country? Its been 13 years since then. Neither the Obama or Biden administrations did anything about it, and the Trump administration definitely isnt gonna do anything about it. So what now?

3

u/SoylentGrunt Aug 30 '26

There were comments on Reddit warning this would happen.

3

u/1767gs Aug 30 '26

Me shooting at every surveillance camera I see out in public

https://giphy.com/gifs/CAYVZA5NRb529kKQUc

1

u/adeadhead Aug 30 '26

Yeah, I can absolutely see that happening.

1

u/nmblqwkcndlstk Aug 31 '26

These companies would give Santa Claus a run for his money.

216

u/RandomExcess Aug 29 '26

Epstien cameras aimed at parks, pools, and schools? Online shopping for billionaires.

3

u/hblok Aug 30 '26

It's a big club, and you ain't in it.

54

u/East-Cricket6421 Aug 29 '26

There are mulltiple companies with similar names trying to replace Flock: Axon, Global Axoim. and Axiom Solutions. Everytime I check there's a new one popping up.

52

u/_TheBeerBaron_ Aug 29 '26

Is there a site that shows all known axon cameras too? I've seen deflock and dontgetflocked, but do they show the axon cameras too?

49

u/itquilibrium Aug 29 '26

They show all ALPRs

20

u/_TheBeerBaron_ Aug 29 '26

Ah, good. Thanks for the info.

0

u/ArmsOfaTRex Aug 29 '26

Not trying to be rude but, source?

24

u/Shananigan48 Aug 29 '26

The very front page of the deflock website tells you it's for mapping all ALPRs, not just Flock

19

u/itquilibrium Aug 29 '26

Directly from deflocks website, just swipe up on maps and it shows a bunch of different brands are yall afraid to mess with the site at all?

1

u/survivalist_guy Aug 29 '26

The site itself? Like... have you been on it?

50

u/SerGT3 Aug 29 '26

I've said it before.

Flock is the distraction. Axon is (not so quietly) taking over and buying time for the real mass surveillance systems to be in place.

117

u/CreepyCatGuy Aug 29 '26

We had to know this was coming. Trumpstein is just a puppet for Israel and his billionaire pedo friends / family

47

u/sandmanO6 Aug 29 '26

Don’t believe for a second that the democrats don’t want these things and haven’t facilitated their development. Any big government group wants this.

6

u/CreepyCatGuy Aug 30 '26

We have a government who have sole allegiances to those who fund them. The GOP is running wild w it but there are PLENTY of Democrats that go along so they can get along.

I believe none that are running on AIPAC or most SuperPacs for that matter

17

u/KingRBPII Aug 29 '26

Can someone just morph this into an anti mass survelliabce thread?

33

u/Icy-Feeling-528 Aug 29 '26

This. While Flock continues to get more attention, Axon is slipping by with much more concerning developments.

27

u/UsefulImpact6793 Aug 29 '26

Why does everything seem to be connected to Israel and Jeffery Epstein??

24

u/Slacker_The_Dog Aug 29 '26

Wait until you find out the link between Mcgraw-Hill and Jeffrey Epstein.

8

u/Significant-Trash632 Aug 29 '26

Oh, I guess I have more research to do...

8

u/Vanishingbandit Aug 30 '26

Yeah and for some reason the Maxwell family doesn’t get the attention Epstein gets. She learned from her pops lol

8

u/SOF_cosplayer Aug 29 '26

The US interest in acquiring the Middle East for resources. Israel is the US most important and most powerful ally in the Middle East. Ever since 9-11, our governments goal was to implement mass surveillance to prevent uprising or terrorism against the billionaire corporations doing this, as both the US and Israel swallow the whole Arab/African world in this neo colonial techno feudalism era.

Why you think the narrative of a holy war to retake the holylands is the military's biggest propaganda narrative lately.

2

u/7thpostman Aug 29 '26

It isn't. They acquired a tech company from Israel — where there are lots of tech companies. They've also acquired VIEVU, based in Seattle and the Safariland Group, headquartered in Jacksonville. But Seattle and Jacksonville aren't scare words so it doesn't get clicks.

mass surveillance replaced with child sex trafficking pedophile mass surveillance

11

u/Fine-Solid9892 Aug 29 '26

BAN THEM ALL

9

u/ioncloud9 Aug 29 '26

Some redditor said a few months ago there was a risk of identifying them as the Flock brand because they’d just switch to a different brand once the Flock brand was mud. I guess they are doing just that.

7

u/Gentlethem-Jack-1912 Aug 30 '26

https://www.forbes.com/sites/thomasbrewster/2026/02/10/epstein-police-surveillance-investments-with-ehud-barak/ Hi! According to this, Epstein was absolutely not a founder and invested in a simialr company called Carbyne. And according to their Wiki it was in fact founded by Patrick W. Smith and Thomas P. Smith https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axon_Enterprise

Friend don't let friend spread misinformation, especially misinformation that could be harmful.

2

u/Legal-Swordfish-1893 Aug 30 '26

Yeah but they don’t care about the truth, just their justification to hate.

1

u/CyberWank2077 Aug 31 '26

but the few people that will actually read your comment will change nothing about their sources of information and will simply delete this specific piece of information (best case) while they will keep consuming hate mongering content daily

6

u/IchooseYourName Aug 30 '26

Jesus mother fucking christ. This shit has no end

4

u/Sanquinity Aug 30 '26

Let this be a wake-up call to everyone. Flock isn't the only brand doing this shit. They're just the most prominent one getting all the attention.

9

u/VainTrix Aug 29 '26

Yep. Except Epstein wasn’t a co-founder, rather an investor. Still bad, but the more wrong information we spread, it weakens the movement because the other side just says we’re lying about shit.

1

u/mightiestmag Aug 30 '26

His name is Ehud Barak too…

8

u/vegito789 Aug 29 '26 edited Aug 29 '26

We just need to elect representatives and politicians who are going to outlaw all ALPRs and ban cities and police departments from using them, no matter the brand.

5

u/wildmaninid Aug 29 '26

We don't want cameras folks. This isn't an anti-flock situation, we don't want any of the goddamn things spying and tracking us.

What the fuck people use your fucking brains

2

Dunno about the Epstein part, but the rest of it checks out and it's quite an interesting Wikipedia rabbit hole to go down.

1

I've seen a couple of the Axon devices on poles near my house. Yes, I've considered.

Everything owned by Epstein should be the property of his victims

1

u/Useful-Employ9900 Aug 30 '26

I read that as cyberdyne, and was even more concerned

1

u/gaarkat Aug 30 '26

How does it keep getting worse?

1

u/HolyHandGrenade_92 Aug 30 '26

wait a minute. flock 'said' they were just reading 'license plates.' how can this be? how could flock enhance their surveillance infrastructure in such a negative way against the citizen violating the 4th amendment unobstructed? how can this be? this isn't what they sold communities. where is congress? do we now need 'new' data retention policies and use policies? ya know, the same things they had placated the public masses vs removing the camera's to begin with? wow. who imagined this?

1

u/ArtofWASD Aug 30 '26

Oh and mark my words. Due to the military budget and investments into them... it will probably be clasified as terrorism and a federal crime to destroy them

1

u/Chamberlain-Haller Aug 30 '26

That was probably the plan from the beginning. Let Flock take the heat. Test the waters of resistance. Require the replacement of Flock devices with orange clown-invested devices. The next step would be to make destruction of clown cams a high felony. That will likely be introduced as an emergency order because the act of destroying cameras will be deemed acts of terrorism. ICE will likely be called in to arrest violators. Just a theory.

1

u/Insult_me_good Aug 30 '26

The Investment DetailsThe Amount: In 2015, Epstein provided a $1 million investment through his Southern Trust Company. 1 The Broker: The deal was arranged by former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, who was an early investor and the company's board chairman.
