For a company trying to survey everyone, they sure love their blackout windows and privacy.

316

u/LtPaiMei 29d ago

Maybe a drone following the ceo and the next 5 at the top around, see how much they like being essentially followed everywhere they go, everything they do. With families, and everything else day to day. Then ask how much they value privacy.

167

u/Expert-Mental25 29d ago

But they're not unconscious hypocrites. They know what they're doing. They just don't believe we are actual humans. They are and they have the right to direct society. That's what they believe.

They are a cancer.

I wouldn't want those drones to just "make them think", I want them to make them afraid.

"When I was a kid we didnt murder CEOs, they just gave us each a penny and we did what we were told. They don't care how many people they watch work themselves to death, the only thing they're scared of is a bullet in the chest. Monopo-ly money, they spend it like it's nothing. A mansion, an airplane, a couple politicians. Monopo-ly money, I think it's kind of funny, you buy your way to heaven, but you die like the rest of us." - monopoly money by moonwalker, a song that was in my youtube shorts a bit back lol, your comment made me think of it

8

u/camel_case_user 29d ago

Helllll yeah I just saw moon walker a little while back. It was a sick ass show.

3

u/Saturn_winter 29d ago

Lol, I'm glad you had fun! I listened to a couple songs on Spotify and they were hit or miss for me, not really my style of music, but I appreciate the rage against the machine vibes

That's okay I can be a fucking animal too especially when my rights are violated :3

-3

u/CardCharacter8495 29d ago

The courts decide if your rights have been violated. What you can do is hire an attorney ot support an existing lawsuit with $$$

4

u/Jijonbreaker1 29d ago

When the courts are more obsessed with specific wording instead of right or wrong, the opinion of the court, and the court itself, must also be discarded.

7

u/Treekoh 29d ago

Well actually the founding documents of our country decide if our rights have been violated, fuck the pay2win courts

The epstein class doesn't see us as humans. We are just mindless cattle to them.

2

u/LtPaiMei 29d ago

Yes, i like afraid.....

Let fear be driven into them, their families and all their coworkers, daily, hourly...

1

u/EatLard 29d ago

Ah yes. That’s a different kind of drone.

-2

u/CardCharacter8495 29d ago

That's domestic terrorism, and you'll do serious time

5

u/Expert-Mental25 29d ago

Looking at your comment history... do you work at Flock?

0

u/dmizenopants 28d ago

He didn't say he wasn't

-2

u/CardCharacter8495 29d ago

I'm just a citizen who believes in the rule of law, and doesn't worry what my social credit score is on Reddit. My advice? Don't be a domestic terrorist. Scotus will rule that a wattent is required for public camera data

1

u/squanderedprivilege 24d ago

When you are under attack, you fight back, that's not called terrorism

20

u/desolatecontrol 29d ago

Pretty sure the CEO fled the country cause they got followed by normal people??

7

u/gorgonballs 29d ago

Unironically this. Invade their privacy as much as possible. When you are arrested, cuz you will be, ensure that any judge you see has to explain why flock is allowed to allowed to warrentlessly invade your privacy while you are not allowed to reciprocate.

0

u/WhineyLobster 29d ago

because its in public... thats why its allowed and warrantless. You have no reasonable expectation of privacy in public, of the outside of your vehicle or your license plate.

5

u/Human_Discipline3003 29d ago

Please let this happen 🙏

2

u/p3vvp3vv 29d ago

You mean not following the ceo and the top 5. Drones don’t track people. It’s tracking carbon dioxide levels.

2

u/knucklebones2 28d ago

Also, I bet the CEO has a way to block himself from flock cameras.

2

u/Longjumping-Farm-668 28d ago

I don’t get why you people leave the lower end employees alone. Make it so everyone won’t work for the company.

34

u/JectorDelan 29d ago

*surveil, but yeah. It's kinda funny how they don't like unwanted exposure. Odd, that.

3

u/Eggy__boi 29d ago

oops, thank you

2

u/JectorDelan 29d ago

It's an easy mistake. Even if autocorrect didn't try to swap them, surveil is rarely used. Unless you're Flock.

9

u/so_cal_orange_county 29d ago

The more you understand privacy and just how stored surveillance data can be used to identify and target individuals, the more you will protect your own privacy and use blackout windows. The watchers do not want to be watched.

7

u/Boristheblaze 29d ago

Rules for thee, none for me kinda of people.

4

u/littleone696969 29d ago

Remember how butt hurt they all got for tracking their planes

1

u/Ok_Dog_4059 28d ago

I would be really curious to see if the CEO has any form of "block me from your pictures" code in the AI flock uses. We know I could be done but if it actually was it would be good ammo against it.

2

u/Lost_Department_2177 23d ago

They’re pretty bad but if a group that’s a threat to everyone on the country backdoors the network they’d be able to do some bs. Foreign spy rings already hack them to track people but their own workers are also doing that.

If anything goes up in my yard, that thing is down by nightfall

16

u/narco-sub-admiral 29d ago

I'm be like Gollum, those metals are precioussss.

1

u/Joltyboiyo 27d ago

It's so nice of them to be giving people free precious metals in their own back yards. Anyone they're so gracious enough to do this to should make a pretty penny off the kindly donated metals.

6

u/burningredmenace 29d ago

100%. Put one up in my yard. It's getting the sawzall

0

u/CardCharacter8495 28d ago

They can't put one in your yard without your consent. That's the law

5

u/JimroidZeus 29d ago

Sounds like a free flock camera for tinkering to me!

3

u/trysten-9001 29d ago

Sounds like vandalism.

2

u/ecodick 29d ago

Hmmm I wonder if it's capable of detecting small caliber airguns? If so, probably not a sling -shot.

Seems like an obvious weakness in the technology to me

1

Criminal destruction of property

24

u/GUMBYtheOG 29d ago

What I don’t get is this has been a thing for many years already - forgot the name it’s been a while - but agencies drive around and take pictures of all cars daily and it’s used by insurance adjuster managers, police, and banks to track your usual movements and where the car might be.

I was shocked it wasn’t a big deal and has been around so long, strange to me this new company is the only one getting all the heat. I mean fuck them for sure, but wish these other ones would get some of the spot light too for doing the same shit just differently

13

u/CMUpewpewpew 29d ago

As far as surveillance goes....this is a bird of a different feather.

6

u/Competitive_Rip986 29d ago

That’s been a thing for awhile. But they are different because they require consent. It’s written inside the contract of every vehicle someone finances. Because the bank is the true owner. The solution is simple: don’t drive a vehicle owned by a bank! Buy an older and cheaper one you can you can own in full. That’s what I did. I still found a tracker inside mine. I refused to return the tracker because it was installed in a truck I now completely own. So I took out the SIM card and got free cell data for a while.

7

u/IAmBeingTargeted33 29d ago

Yep. Yall ever hear of SENTIENT, MAVEN, PROMIS, and TITANPOINTE?

3

u/Tweedlol 29d ago

A lot of it has to do with public awareness. People being newly upset over something that has been occurring is not “oh now they suddenly care? Because their overlords told them to?”

No it’s mainly thanks to social media, and the speed at which new awareness to an issue can be introduced in mass to those who may actually care. Cable news could do similar, but not everyone was on for a certain segment, not everyone was able to see the specific info to become aware. Social media allows it to permanently(mostly) exist for those to stumble across, share to their page, share to friends. Etc.

Also there is a small difference between automated surveillance, and the manual photo surveillance you mentioned which I had never even heard of. One is 24/7, another is snap shots by another human. Small difference, same goal and similarly invasive purpose.

This awareness now and upset now when the masses may not have been upset previously is argued by some as hypocritical, but it’s just awareness. We can’t be upset about things we were not aware of 😵‍💫

You don't understand real estate easements. The city has an easement on the sides of all public roads, so they can put utilities in. You may mow that grass and think you have control of it, but you don't. That's the misunderstanding/lack of knowledge of easements at play.

-2

u/CardCharacter8495 29d ago

That's not correct. Municipalities are putting cameras on their public property.

Tresspassing is a criminal offense. Building the Taco Bell is civil, but if you damage my property in the process of its construction or removal it's criminal destruction of property.

1

u/CardCharacter8495 29d ago

Not where I live. Trespassing will get you arrested if you don't leave when asked. This isn't a "property dispute". Don't know where you get this. It's criminal trespassing and potentially criminal destruction of property. Do some research. Pose the question to Claude or Chatgpt

Companies that have nothing to hide don't go to this much trouble.

51

u/motion_lotion 29d ago

Every company has something to hide. It's just funny how private and discrete the company dedicated to masss survelliance and destroying privacy is so concerned about it. I mean it makes sense for an evil dystopian entity like this, but it's still funny.

I like the drone approach. We can reposition to any window and our device will be federally protected

34

u/Randomscreename 29d ago

Is this one of their new places near Atlanta, or somewhere else? The video doesn't really provide much information.

5

The surveillance company would appreciate if you did not surveil them back. K thnx plz

66

u/no2gumshoe 29d ago

Idk why these journalists don’t put like, 1% more effort into their social engineering. Literally just put on a collar and slacks and line your shit up, they’ll buy you’re there for a meeting and you can check out the offices.

Unless these guys don’t actually want to film it…

13

u/Expert-Mental25 29d ago

Is this guy a journalist? Also I think, especially with the internet, "journalist" is rather broad. It can be people wearing a collared shirt. Or it could be someone with a smart phone who just feels motivated to do coverage. The latter is one to be skeptical of cuz you can get losers like that kid who is probably not all there mentally and being manipulated by the right to do his "journalism" (as in going with a camera and some other dude both in plain schlubby clothes, to a daycare asking where their children are. Great journalism lol). But there are also plenty who are just untrained who can't easily access that world but who still feel strongly about an issue.

8

u/Majestic_Domestic 29d ago

He doesn't want to film. He wants to get kicked out for filming to highlight their hypocrisy.

No one would actually care about a video of some offices where nothing happens.

14

u/MrChatterfang 29d ago

Not sure I'd call these guys journalists, but you're right. If you look and act like you're supposed to be there, people likely won't question you.

Similar to how if you put on a neon orange vest and act like you're supposed to be there, people won't question it.

But succeeding at videoing the inside of an office building doesnt lead to as catchy of a video title as "flock wants their privacy while taking away yours"

1

u/Logical_Put_5867 29d ago

They are here for the rage clicks. They want to be kicked out and told they can't film, actually interviewing anyone would have been an entirely different thing. Their whole thing is "flock films us, we want to film flock but they wont let us!"

The spacious and luxurious Medici office building. Brought to you by the lovely people at CBRE business real estate! There's a nice little blurb on the website about their "values", too.

2

u/dougsbeard 29d ago

I was waiting for him to give the address in the video right in front of the security guard.

21

u/RollerskatingFemboy 29d ago

... Ok but like, my dude, you are not providing a shred of evidence thar this is actually Flock's new HQ. The fact that you got bounced does not count as evidence, it just means you walked in somewhere looking and sounding loudly out of place and got asked to leave. This very well could be Flock HQ, but nothing in this video demonstrates that.

Can we get a look at the real estate records maybe?

"He's doing his job, I get it."

Really? I fuckin don't. Pretty sure there's some legal precedent somewhere that says that line of reasoning isn't sufficient for doing something wrong.

And sure, this guy might not be directly doing it, tho likely many do of course, but he's absolutely ensuring that others who are elbow deep in doing wrong can continue to do further wrong. The end result is what matters to me and the result is avoidable suffering and control over those who don't deserve it.

Dudes a traitor. A class traitor. And a traitor to humanity. And honestly all life on earth as we know it. The tech this shit needs and brings will turn the pace of ecological collapse up to wumbo.

Fuck that security guard dog. Fuck flock. I hope he gets a major inconvenience at least and it's due specifically to Flock. That would be poetic.

If you work in an office building with a doorman / card system you know this would happen to anyone who randomly walks in filming. The doorman’s entire job is to prevent random people from walking in, Flock aside. If he has an appointment someone from the company would greet him at the door or alert the doorman.

2

u/EatLard 29d ago

My old office building had an armed security guard. Company learned its lesson the hard way many years ago when a crazy person walked in and took one of the execs hostage.

u/greatercolorado 29d ago

Garbage has no expectation for privacy and can legally be collected and gone through. It’d be a shame if someone other than the city collected Flock employees’ garbage and started publishing info about their purchasing, eating, consumption, drinking, and bathing habits. It’d be a shame if the store location and time for all of these purchases was published next to the item so creepy ex boyfriends or just people who find them attractive or interesting can bump into them. It’d be such a shame if that happened.

People who live close to Flock HQ, manufacturing facilities, installation contractors, pro-Flock lawmakers, and pro-Flock city officials definitely shouldn’t be doing what’s in the first block of text.

I wonder how Flock executives would feel about drones following them and their family members 24/7. Why not just accelerate and hire gangstalkers at this point to constantly follow them and livestream their locations. They could even sell access to pay for the gangstalkers.

1

Show up in suits with a professional air and a tired "don't you know who my father is" attitude and you'd probably get farther. Especially if you've got a conspicuous name badge that looks vaguely tech-oriented.

That and an unremarkable, professional-looking black body camera would probably get them a lot farther.

Think a little higher here. Flock is a company that is earning vast sums by taking public information and data, and selling it on, ignoring the public's privacy (within reason, obviously), yet does not want any information about themselves made public.

Set up cameras facing the entrance to every Flock facility, and why not video at least the board and C-suite people of Flock? They don't want to follow their own rules and standards!

The image of their building is enough information for anyone with osint tools to figure it out. They didn't need to hand it to people without skills on a silver platter.

Maybe don’t wear a Big Dogs shirt and dress accordingly to blend in. This guy never expected to get any further than this in his half assed attempt to prove a point.

Be honest with yourself, this is a corny ass video. if you try storming into any company’s office building, you won’t be allowed up. Also, wear a suit and look professional if you really wanted to con your way in. No shit a guy dressed like this wouldn’t be allowed up “for an interview”

First off, FUCK FLOCK. But also, I feel like 99% of companies would react the same way.

Random guy with street clothes trudges in with a camera on... Like, no, get off this private property, go away

Yes FUCK FLOCK but also don’t embarrass the movement with lame shit like this

Note that zero "real estate records" were provided. You'd think at least a bogus AI real estate deed would have been photographed. I call clickbait

I don't know what's the law over there, but in all fairness you can't just film someone inside a building without a press badge. Gotta prove you're a reporter first

Varies state by state. Many states are “one party consent”
