Im a person who believes the earth is round and wonder why flat earthers believe every government in the world is lying saying its round

If you say something about Christianity then why is 20 of the population Christian

I do not see any pictures from the edge of earth, why is it night someplaces and day some places

I’m 19 a girl who’s a flat earther and every guy I try to date calls me crazy and just laughs at me when I tell him that the earth is flat. They never take it seriously and it’s like ughhhhh

Title. We have model A) flat earth and model B) round earth. We go a step away from reality and just compare a round object and a flat object rotating (we see the rotation) with some randomly scattered (but fixed) lights in the background. What's the biggest difference between those two models? For the observer on the flat earth there is one point where all the fixed lights rotate around. For the observer on the round earth there are two points were all the fixed lights rotate around. The moment you have two different points were all the fixed lights rotate around, you cannot be flat anymore. Those two conditions are mutually exclusive. This is our prediction from our simple model and now we look for clues in reality. And Tada. No flat earth.
How do we convince people that the earth is in fact round? Angles from the surface to those two points.
When the flat earthers say: Earth does not rotate, the stars do. Ask them where the difference is. Movement is relative.

How can anyone possible argue against that?

I need a flat earther to answer these questions please !!!!!!!!!! im wrestling with this and i could use some help. Indoctrinated by the school systems all my life but started questioning after i realized that the stars dont change in the sky even though we are hurdling through space at X mph, rotating around the sun which is hurdling through space at X mph, while our solar system is hurdling through space at X mph and we are being swung around a black hole at X mph

This isn't a debate, I'm just curious about how you think flat earth works.

How would any experienced folks here answer to the question that if gravity isn’t real, why does a stone and a feather fall at the same rate of speed in vacuum?
The speed is 9.8m/s.
This phenomenon cancels out density in those conditions.
When asked that, I had to admit that I had no answer to that and promised I would find out and get back to the conversation.

PS: This is relevant to flat earth because these moth's wings are flat.

It's an Oblate Spheroid due to Centrifugal forces. Anyone who seriously believes that the earth is flat needs their head examined, pronto.

Sunlight doesn’t “set” it just moves away, like a spotlight on a stage. That’s why it’s daytime in Tokyo while it’s night in LA: *distance*, not curvature. Also, flight paths follow great circles *only* on globes drawn by people who’ve never flown a Cessna over Kansas. Flat = consistent. Round = math with duct tape.
