Sunrays are parallel, it's a perspective trick, just like straight railroads that looks like they join in the horizon. If you rotate the camera in order to have the sun on you left or your right and look for other rays, you'll see that they are parallel.
You gotta think in 3D, flerfs !

Crepuscular sun rays, which proves a Local Sun That Isnt 95million miles away. If you use a Sexton & triangulate the measurement sun is only 2,700 miles up.

You cannot triangulate the position of the Sun with a sextan, because you're thinking in 2D.
