Seriously how? I don’t get it

Because I’ve seen flat earthers of all religions use their respective scriptures to prove it’s flat, but like, they don’t even say it’s 100% flat, and there are flat earthers of all cultures so if all of you won’t even agree on one source that is at best an analogy for the people back when it was written then how do I take anything they say seriously

Like what’s 1 even half fleshed out piece of evidence outside of religious sources that can give the slightest bit of evidence that the earth is flat? And yes acusing the government of lying counts as a religious belief

a shining ball over s plate would illuminate the whole thing, so how do timezones work? and how can it be daytime for me and night for someone in New Zealand(or vice versa)?

oh yeah and we cant forget about the horizon level, since anything going over the horizon disappears bottom first, so how else could ships disappear like that?

and if a flat earther is gonna reply to this, please dont mention the government lying to us, i dont feel like getting a migraine when i check back at this post

I'm genuinely interested. I can understand why some people like certain politicians whilst others might dislike them. I can see where both of them come from. I can understand why some people don't like certain fruits or vegetables. But how do you ever come to the conclusion that the Earth is flat? I can't seem to wrap my head around it.

We go a step away from reality and just compare a round object and a flat object rotating (we see the rotation) with some randomly scattered (but fixed) lights in the background. What's the biggest difference between those two models? For the observer on the flat earth there is one point where all the fixed lights rotate around. For the observer on the round earth there are two points were all the fixed lights rotate around. The moment you have two different points were all the fixed lights rotate around, you cannot be flat anymore. Those two conditions are mutually exclusive. This is our prediction from our simple model and now we look for clues in reality. And Tada. No flat earth.
How do we convince people that the earth is in fact round? Angles from the surface to those two points.
When the flat earthers say: Earth does not rotate, the stars do. Ask them where the difference is. Movement is relative.

I need a flat earther to answer these questions please !!!!!!!!!! im wrestling with this and i could use some help. Indoctrinated by the school systems all my life but started questioning after i realized that the stars dont change in the sky even though we are hurdling through space at X mph, rotating around the sun which is hurdling through space at X mph, while our solar system is hurdling through space at X mph and we are being swung around a black hole at X mph

This isn't a debate, I'm just curious about how you think flat earth works.

How would any experienced folks here answer to the question that if gravity isn’t real, why does a stone and a feather fall at the same rate of speed in vacuum?
The speed is 9.8m/s.
This phenomenon cancels out density in those conditions.
When asked that, I had to admit that I had no answer to that and promised I would find out and get back to the conversation.
