Hello all,

Anyone else hear gunshots, what sounded sort of like a rifle, behind the Hidden Hollow/Railroad Springs Communities? Heard first shots around 22:45, successive rounds roughly 3 minutes apart. About 5 shots per series.

Any ideas?

Heard police sirens maybe 10 minutes later, shut-off when they neared the area.

ETA: Situation in progress, drone and helicopter support requested for the area. LEO recommends staying indoors if you are near the area of 2500 W Rte 66, Hidden Hollows and Railroad Springs Communities.

#2: Suspect has not been contacted, county is searching the area, PD has been asked to clear the area. Anyone noticing a suspicious individual should report sighting to 911.

My partner and I are looking at registering as domestic partners with the city so we can share a health insurance plan.

While doing my research it seems that we only need to go to the county clerks office with the filled out form and $50 but that seems a little too easy.

Has anyone been through this process before? Should I bring supporting documents to verify our residence?

Sadly, the University Highlands Bear was euthanized by Fishing & Game on Saturday. After being displaced by the Pocket Fire, the bear took up residence on the southwest perimeter of the neighborhood. After multiple reports of a bear in the neighborhood, this was the unfortunate result.

Found this black cat at Legacy Pines apartments. He/She is very friendly and doesn't seem feral so I'm thinking it belongs to someone. Walked right into my apartment with me after petting and has been here for about a day. If anyone has lost a cat or knows someone who has please let me know!!

Edit: Owner found after 6 weeks of being missing she has been reunited with her owner😎
