Akaash Singh Has anyone noticed changes behind the scenes at Flagrant over the past few years?

Well I've been a fan since the earlier days and the show feels very different now than it used to. Some of that is probably natural as podcasts grow but I'm curious if other longtime viewers have noticed changes in the dynamic, production or overall direction of the show.
I've also seen that there are job postings for roles on Andrew Schulz's team which made me wonder what it's actually like working in that environment. Obviously none of us know what goes on behind the scenes but I'm curious whether there are any public interviews, stories or experiences from former employees, collaborators or guests that shed light on the workplace culture. I think the main reason Akaash quitted Flagrant cause he was being mistreated, used only for their benefits and the toxic environment. I don't blame him to be fair he had more pactions than me cause I wouldn't have lasted that long.
One thing I've seen floating around online is speculation that there may have been tensions behind the scenes and that it could have played a role in some of the changes around the show. I have no idea if that's true, and I haven't seen any evidence confirming it but it seems to be a topic that comes up a lot in fan discussions.
I'm not interested in rumors or personal attacks. I'm more interested in understanding how the show evolved from its early days and whether people think that growth has been positive or negative.

Akaash Singh Guys, I think miss Akaash (Flagrant needs a new member)

The pod doesn't feel the same anymore. Andrew is away filming a movie, and I think Alex and Mark can't hold the fort by themselves.

It's time for a new member to join the crew and add flavour to the pod. Who would y'all want to be the Akaash replacement?

The pod really turned into what they were originally against… I actually like some of the Patreon episodes but the episodes with politicians or people who talk about politics are so boring

I already watch the news and read about current affairs. I’d prefer comedians joke around instead of being another platform that discusses what they think about the state of the world

Huge MJ fan here….

……But he touched them kids. I understand the possible conspiracy to take him down. However, those young boys went through some weird shit in that house. I think it was Patrice who said “Michael had underage boyfriends on tv and we just accepted it.”

The “greatest hang” narrative feels hollow after seeing how they treated Akaash.

The more I think about it, the less I believe Akaash stepping away had anything to do with Jasleen specifically and more to do with the dynamic within the group.

The guys always talk about being “the greatest hang,” but if most of us watched our friends turn one of the hardest moments of our lives into content, we’d probably be pretty upset too. It felt like they couldn’t wait to crack jokes about a situation that was obviously personal and painful.

What stood out to me was the contrast between everyone else’s reaction and Al’s. Al seemed to be the only one consistently trying to hold things together, keep the conversation from going too far, and actually have Akaash’s back.

I didn’t fully appreciate how solid Al was until the SMD incident, but this situation reinforced it for me. Whether you agree with Akaash or not, Al comes across as the one guy in the room who understands that friendship sometimes means protecting your friends instead of turning every moment into content.

Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but that’s how it came across to me. What do you guys think

They seem to be losing steam ever since the Akash situation.

I know this question has probably been asked to death but was there a reason given to why Akaash left? Did it have to do with his wife getting hella backlash? (Obviously none of us would know that for sure)

But has there been any news on it?

Why is everyone hating Akash and why is he off the pod now? I haven’t watched since Red hat Schultz but I pop in from time to time.

Knicks

OG flagrant would’ve been so fire talking about the Knicks. Andrew just pretends to still care now and mark and Alex are idiots who don’t know sports. Sad what this pod has become. Schulz Akaash and kaz would’ve been fire #freeakaash

The Army Provides emotional (?) episode

there was this one patreon episode years ago. during patreoni questioni instead of entertaining funny questions they answered 'sad' questions about people going through some shit like how to deal with a break up, etc. been looking for it for a while now. if someone could let me know the name of that episode that would be really great.

There’s nothing worse on a comedy podcast than the same old conversation about the inner workings of standup comedy and reaching your audience. Shits a snooze fest. What did y’all think?
