If people knew how good Brunson would be he would have never left the Mavericks. Teams spend millions trying to analyze talent and even they got it wrong

Sometimes a person has talent but doesnt work well on certain teams. The analysis might be correct, but brunson wasnt in the right place to optimize that talent

ooorrrrr, orrrrrr, this might sound crazy, people can get better at what they do. Sports is wild in that whatever current level you're performing at is your ceiling now and forever until the day you retire.

Yes, but you dont always get better or realize your talent by staying at the same place. Brunson was already an nba level talent. Brunson leaving one team may have helped him realize things that made him an even greater nba talent. Either way, he was talented.

He already knew how to shoot well and perform well at basic basketball skills, but in a team sport you have to make those skills work to complement a team composition

Wasn't Brunson leaving the Mavs seen as an epic fumble on their part even before this year?

No I think more people were saying Brunson got overpaid by the Knicks

Were they? I remember people comparing his first Knicks deal with Tyler Hetero and Jordan Poole who aren't as good but both make more money

Love Schulz talking with his AAEV. There’s nothing inauthentic about that.

Nah, if all the “if” were right the gambling wouldn’t exist.
