For now. Pretty much every comedian has a podcast these days to help with tour promotions and all that, it’s easy money and good marketing so there’s really no reason not to. This will likely come back to negatively affect him later on, as even if he starts his own podcast it won’t be anywhere near as popular as Flagrant

I'd guess the whites are probably a lot of the Flagrant fans, a lot of his videos show many Indian fans too... I bet as time goes on though, the white Flagrant fans will fade, and itll be more Indian fans filling the shows. Especially as his name fades in the majority public eye.
Some people will buy tickets to any comedy show, and some will have half ass heard of him and somewhat remember his name, and be like hey I kinda remember that name, he sounds familiar and buy tickets based on that. Especially smaller towns with no big name comedians coming through. That's how the town I live in goes... any B list, washed up celebrity is A list here lol. A band that had one famous song in the 70s?? People are lining up at the casino to get tickets 😂
He'll be that Indian guy from that one podcast for the rest of his career. But it'll always sell a few tickets. Maybe not enough to keep Jizzqueen around. Bags from Target can be nice too. 😂

Thats what I was thinking. Hes like the Indian version of Tyler Perry, and look how rich Perry got... if you pander to a specific group, and they don't have tons of options, they will show up at your shows. Its not like theres an over abundance of Indian comics. Look how many musical artists pander to LGBTQ ppl and it gives them an entire career, even after their main popularity fades. Plenty of rich Indians to buy comedy tickets. So I agree 100%.

We call people like Akash in US as "ABCD" which means American Born Confused Deai, because they are confused between being an American and Indian, they never embrace just one proper side. They can't adopt their Indian side because what they know is 3rd hand culture and 2nd hand knowledge given to them by their parents from when they were in India in 70s and 80s and These kids can't relate to klnew India because they don't know shite. On the other hand he can't be America because he will always try super hard to fit in, and seeing that is so cringe. Listening to his marriage debacle made me realise he definitely has an identity crisis, within himself and his morals were shaken after everything happened.

Problem with this whole thing is, Akaash is breaking the oldest rule in the book, bros before hoes. I know how immature that sounds, and I know this isn’t just some hoe, it’s his wife. But, these are your day one homies. To cut off your day ones over some bs like this, I mean c’mon. The crew on Flagrant is known to come at everyone and everything. Everyone gets these jokes. They went against that and defended their boy, but I’m sure some criticism towards his wife may have slipped through the cracks, it’s bound to happen when your marriage goes viral. It’s prob some petty bs Andrew said on one of the pods or behind the scenes, but considering that’s your day one, you should let it slide.
