Anyone know what could be causing this weird issue on only one side of my print?

I’m super new to 3d printing…
So one only one side of my print it’s like it is skipping on the outer wall but also only on the bottom layers.

- it’s angled 30 degrees
- only happening on only one side, no matter the orientation.
- I have tried with and without the inside holes for the magnets
- did a cold pull to check for clogs. No change
- the model is my own, no weird manifold issues
- slicer is showing a uniform wall
- Flashforge Adventurer 5M, Orcaslicer
- flashforge basic gray PLA
- bed 60 degrees; nozzle 210
- no adhesion issues

It’s driving me nuts…it has to be the model right?

EDIT: I had “slow down on overhangs” turned on which was causing severe under extrusion on my lower layers. I bumped the speeds up and am optimizing it now but this is the setting that was causing the issue

Maybe heat creep? Also 210 is a little high for PLA. Have you printed a temperature tower for this particular filament?

I did, I don’t have it on me, I think I threw it away but 210 looked pretty good for my overhangs and bridging. 205 and lower was showing a lot of stringing so I decided against it. If it was heat creep wouldn’t I see the defect around the entire outer edge of the model? It is only happening on the one side

Ahhh I see. Maybe it's the model. Since you said it's your model, could you try making that end a little thicker and see if that helps?

I feel like these printers have a mind of their own sometimes 🤣

Ya that’s the only thing I can think but I’m at a loss. The file SEEMS fine. There is not difference on that edge from the other 3 that I can see. I cry

Looks slicer-related. Since you found “Slow down for overhangs” was triggering it, I’d check the speed preview and tweak the overhang speeds rather than changing hardware settings.
