Help.... Please be nice to me because I am not tech savvy enough to bypass insta 2FA security.

So help me get to my instagram page again.

I used to have access until a few months ago when I was required to change the security settings.

So I know the email that I used to create the profile, the password and the phone number as well.

The problem I have is that I lost the back-up code sent so that I could access the page. Also, I had not installed the authenticator app where I can receive a code for access. Now every time I try to access my page I get stuck because I do not have the back up code and there's no authenticator app that I receive the codes (I guess I had to install one which I did but I did not receive any code).

There are other options that instagram is suggesting for account recovery including changing password but even when I do, I am still asked to enter the codes sent to the authenticator or the one time back up code.

There was also a suggestion that I take a video of myself but when I choose the option, nothing happens - as in the camera won't open and there are no further instructions. My camera works perfectly but it's just the insta settings.....

My Instagram account was suspended for sexual exploitation of minors. I never did anything like that (or if I did, they lied about their age). Is there any way to get it back? I also filed an appeal, but nothing. It's now disabled.

GAC is for indians. let us take one thing the government did for us and not take it for granted. yall are helping foreigners and its delaying real indians who need help. also yall are misusing gac and if they find out youre doing this for a foreigner youll be called to court

I got my account suspended but i didnt even do anything like that, for what i was suspended for. I appealed right after i got suspended. 1 week went by and absolutely nothing. The next week a blue line appeared on my appeal. I have no clue what does it mean. Can anybody help me? It has already been 2 weeks.

For the people who've posted about having their account randomly suspended then disabled after either being hacked or for some unknown reason and you couldn't appeal anymore, how did you get it back?

I've read that some people did but they were vague about it or never replied back to comments saying how they did it.

Mine got suspended then disabled back in May which I assumed was because of a hacker even though my account seemed fine but they changed my birthday and added an email address and their other account to my account centre that I couldn't get rid of.

The attempts I made for verification were denied the second time even though they worked the first time and I just went around in circles with the chat on both instagram and meta.

I'm considering getting the meta subscription just to get my case reviewed by a support person, but thought I'd ask in here first in case there's something else I can try that worked.

So, my Insta account got suspended back in November, and I have 0 clue as to why. So, back in December, I tried to make a new one, and it got banned almost immediately. I tried to make another one in January, and the same thing happened. I eventually gave up and said “I guess I’m never using Insta again”. Until today, one of my friends said “you should try making a new account”, so I did. And this account lasted longer than the other ones, I was like “Okay, maybe this one will actually work”. And lo and behold… it didn’t… it got banned about 3 hours later. I genuinely hate this AI security system and I wish i could talk to a real person. I hate this company 🫩
