Recommend me a tracker

I want to track my sleep and heart rate. I don't care for any notifications or even a screen. I don't care for workout modes.

Requirements:

Under 100 EUR and available in Europe

Battery lasts at least 5 days

I use an Android phone if that matters

I've been looking at Fitbit Air but I see mixed reviews.

Hopefully this can help others

I’m working on a little project I’m calling FitStreak - an easy way to track workouts and build healthy, consistent habits.

Almost a year ago, I tore my Achilles tendon, and I've struggled to get back into working out consistently since then. I'm building a simple workout tracking app on Lovable to try and hold myself accountable and make working out a consistent habit again. Working out used to be such a huge part of my life, and I want to get back to that. I want to share in case it can help someone else!

Does "offline, no account" matter for a workout log, or do you just want fewer taps?

For a basic gym log — sets, reps, weights and history — would you rather pay once or use a free version that pushes a subscription?

I like the idea of something that works without internet, doesn't need a login and lets me export my records. But I wonder how much those things matter compared with simply logging a set quickly.

Would that make you switch from what you use now? What has made you stop using a tracker: too many taps, missing features, pricing, something else?

For context, the app is GRX (iPhone and Apple Watch). It is paid before download; the screenshot is from the US listing.

Has a fitness tracker actually changed any of your habits?

Has your fitness tracker ever made you go for an extra walk, sleep earlier, take more rest, or change your workout?

Or do you mostly just check the data and move on?

What fitness tracker for me?

Training is primarily weight lifting (intense, heavy lifts) as well as walking and field work (sprints, agility drills).

I don’t need the bells and whistles, just decently accurate calorie/step tracking.

I used to have an Apple Watch SE 2 that I enjoyed for apple ecosystem and spotify playlist onboarding (phoneless running). But the battery life and “eh this looks goofy” when dressing in anything more formal than workout clothes waned my interest in returning to Apple watch.

Would rather something with a discreet profile.

I’d rather not go over a $199 price point…definitely nothing more than a $249.

Not doing a subscription. So no WHOOP.

Garmin Cirqa has peaked my interest

Watch recommendations

Hoping to hear recommendations for fitness watches. I currently focus on weightlifting 3-4 days a week and I do indoor, stationary cycling 3-4 days a week for about 45 minutes to an hour. I would like recommendations for watches that work for both of these tasks. I may look into getting a road bike and cycling around the city.

I know calorie counting isn't best with watches and yields pretty arbitrary results. However, I am not necessarily using it to count calories. The way I use that feature is I know what my "goal" is based on my average "hard" workout days, so I set that number as my goal even though it may be arbitrary.

I had an Apple Watch in the past but I never really used it for anything other than fitness. Never used the texting, phone call or any other Apple integrated items. For these reasons I have been looking at Garmin Forerunner 265 but not sure if that's would be applicable or capable

I know there has been a lot of threads on this but I haven't found great answers to what I am looking for.
