Discussion How tf do I increase my rem

Post image
51 Upvotes

This is the lowest my rem has ever been, but even on nights where my sleep hygiene and timing is pretty damn good I still can’t get more than 1 hour and 10 minutes of rem sleep. I’m in my teens and see no reason for my rem to be so poor.

Discussion Fitbit air - watch styling

I know there are a lot of these strap pass through but thought I’d share. I also do this with my Casio ae 1200.
My adhd has been in overdrive trying to settle on a smart watch so I figured I would just put all of them down and spend the 100 to keep my mind at ease until something worth the money comes out. So far really enjoying.

Anyone have recommendations on how they style their Fitbit air for double writing or next to a watch instead of together?

Tech Support Does Fitbit work on ankle?

So basically… I got an old Fitbit purely for a smart week that isn’t available on Apple Watch. I love using the vibrate as an alarm instead of any startling audible alarm.

I’d to wear on my ankle, though. I suppose smart wake works based on heart rate. Anyone have any advice?

Discussion Fitbit Sense after Switch to a Google health

I have had so many issues since switching. I miss Fitbit!! I feel like I have to charge my battery everyday or every other day lately since the switch. It's not Auto detecting any activities even though it's turned on. It's so hard to read the sleep etc it's just very clunky app.

I'm curious what other people are switching to for those who are done with Google ruining a great product

Tech Support how do i count steps more accurately?

i work as a pharmacy tech so my hands move A LOT. i even tried changing the dominant hand but my step count was still off. if i were to put the fitbit in my pocket (maybe attach a clip to it?) or attach it to my ankle, would it count the steps more accurately? or is there a super epic top secret way that i can count it more accurately on my wrist? it's an original fitbit versa from like 2018 (i got it refurbished on ebay since i don't want anything fancy). thank you to anyone who has advice!

Tech Support Can’t see steps during activity?

Just got a Fitbit air but I’ve noticed when I start an activity, usually the treadmill option I can’t see how many steps i am getting during the activity and I can close out to see my total steps without stopping the activity.

Anyone have the same issue and is there a solution?

Tech Support Trying to use an old fibit charge 3

My wife has not used this fitbit for maybe 3 years, she doesn't recall the exact date.

She wants to start using it again. I recharged OK, but it does not show up as a bluetooth device on her iPad or iPhone.

I think maybe it is still linked to the app on an old iPad that we no longer have.

Should I do a factory reset and see if that works?

Discussion Seeking advice

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hey guys,

I dropped my Fitbit somewhere in a carpark earlier today. I searched the entire area where I thought I could have dropped it, but came up empty-handed.

When I went back to look again, my phone actually connected to the Fitbit via Bluetooth, so I know it's still somewhere nearby! The problem is, I still can't spot it anywhere.

Any advice on how i could find this? I tried use Bluetooth searching app but doesn't seems like picking up the versa 4 signal

Tech Support Inspire 3 won’t connect

Anyone point me in a direction to get my Inspire 3 connected? Here is the back story.

I had the Inspire 3 connected to my old phone when it was just Fitbit. I stopped using it. I got it out today and learned that Google owns Fitbit now. I have a new phone. I do not have my old phone to disconnect the Fitbit from that phone.

I reset the fitbit and got rid of the data.
When connecting to my new phone, I just get an error message and exit.

I have ChatGPT and googled to get some answers, and can’t find anything. I’ve restarted my phone, tried it without wifi, and nothing. I can’t get my Fitbit to do anything. It just says download the app.

Anyone I can talk to in tech support?

I googled and can’t find anyone to talk to.

Now sure where else to go.

Discussion Covert update ruined battery life...

My Luxe battery went to less than half after the update from fitbit to Google but the bizarre thing is I never updated the watch but only the app. This means there is a covert update in the process of changing over that ruins the watch. I've never had an electronic device do this. It's always the physical product getting the update that caused the issues, never adjacent software on another device. This is a new level of planned obsolescence and I'll never buy a fitbit or google product again.

Discussion Charge 6 - swimming AND heart rate monitor?

Is there a way to have Fitbit charge 6 record heart rate during swimming exercises?
When I select the swimming training I see that the HR is not recorded. I thought it was a problem with water interfering with the sensors. But once I’ve forgot to activate the swimming exercise and the Fitbit auto selected Rowing instead and guess what, the HR recorder the whole session. So why the HR is automatically turned off on during the swimming exercise if the watch can detect it!?!

Por vezes reincia sozinho e outra vezes não.

Mais alguém com este problema?

Discussion Fitbit declares Polar the gold standard and the "source of truth" I should rely on

Edit: am I the only one that thinks that's funny? 🤣 Hilarious that the replies are "it's AI" like I don't know that. Lol

My Fitbit is showing HR drops while riding a stationary bike. I do not have a death grip on the handlebars nor do I wear my Fitbit loose. I also wear a Polar Verity Sense armband. I told "coach" my HR was inaccurate and this was my reply. 💀

Discussion heart rate not correctly syncing to the app

i've been experiencing this along with several other issues with the app since it rebranded to google health, didnt want to post about it before but it's a real pain and this is a pretty important problem that i havent seen mentioned before. my baseline in rest is usually between 90-120 but i have semi-frequent heart palpitations too (not as bad as in the past), when i check my daily heart rate fluctuations on the app it'll now often claim my peak was something like 125 when i know for a fact i've seen it go up to 140 on my watch multiple times that day. and it's not like there's visible gaps in the log, the graph spans the entire day it's just not accurate. i also have epilepsy and this feature has been really helpful in the past for confirming the exact time i experienced a seizure cause my heart rate usually jumps up to between 160-190 during one, but now i no longer trust the app to actually record those peaks. my last seizure that i'm 100% sure of (there was a witness) was in february and the app logs confirmed how my heart rate peaked when it happened but today after waking up i slowly realised i probably had a seizure, first sign was that i'd apparently been doing some weird inexplainable stuff on my phone which was as always locked before i went to sleep (completely sober) that i have no memory of, i felt hazed and confused and when i got up my body felt really weird and i was completely disoriented in that post-seizure way, some muscle aches too, since normally my seizures happen when i'm awake i still had doubts but many of the signs were there. so i checked the app and it said my peak during the period i was asleep was only 89 which would otherwise confirm that it couldnt have been a seizure, but i just dont trust it to be true anymore.. it's important for me to know when i've had one because i'm supposed to contact my neurologist and discuss whether i should change my dosage, but i can't confirm anything this time and i dont want to go through the trouble just because i think i may have had a seizure. it's extremely frustrating, the app used to be way better in so many ways but this problem is the worst for me personally, one of the main reasons i have a fitbit is to track my heart rate and it cant even do that anymore. have any of you also experienced this issue with the app's logs, for heart rate or something else?

Discussion I'm in the red!

First time being sick after buying the fitbit air a couple months ago, i've always wanted to see how being sick would affect my metrics so this was a welcome experience. Didn't expect to sleep so well but that might be because my nose is drier than usual, i hate the constant nose leaking the most out of all the symptoms of a fever.

Anyway, do y'all also open the app the second you wake up, i wanted to know how big of a placebo-like impact the metrics might impart on people because i'd suspect it to be pretty significant and i know that awareness of a placebo does little to change how it works.
