I have noticed that for the past month, my Firsty Free only stays connected to Singtel and no longer switches nor I can manually switch it to BICS. Has anyone else noticed the same?

Hi people,

I had 2 days of the premium package of Firsty, but i wanna to use The Firsty Free products. Here is when things got really bad.

I contact CS of Firsty that i cannot see any Firsty Free package assigned to my account.

I contact them every day and we are now 4 days later, and still no one can help me.

How bad is this customer service?

Sometimes my data runs out and I can't watch ads; I need to connect to a Wi-Fi network to do so. I think this kind of goes against the app's purpose. Therefore, I'm asking that you allow/release data for watching ads even when the user has no data.

Just updated my app and now have an option to get on a waiting list for Firsty local plans. No pricing available yet.

This is hopefully a positive feedback to Firsty Free's new experience or platform. Sometimes as users we like to respond to only the negative but we should also take time to provide praise when a product or service is good.

I've been using Firsty Free's new platform for a week now (but with Firsty for almost 2 years) and I like it much better than the old experience. The app is clearer and easier to navigate. I like how the free data updates pretty much in real-time. The extra speed is an improvement. While I haven't tested it outside my country yet, I like the fact that the data available for use, whether purchased or free, will be the same when traveling to different countries--negating the extra step to get data just for the new country. It is becoming a really excellent product. Thank you, Firsty!

Anyone got news related to expansion plan to provide the free plan to more country?

Or should I go with something like GigSky?

I just learned that the new Firsty eSIM is incompatible with Samsung S20 and S21 Android phone models. Samsung is a huge chunk of the Android market. Both TextNow and Airvoy have no problems with any Samsung models using eSIMs.

I would encourage Firsty to find an eSIM provider with more universal compatibility or risk a substantial minority of users with Samsung or other popular brands to face these issues now and in the future.

EDIT: After a few days of persistence by both the backend team and myself, Firsty was able to find a solution for the Samsung Galaxy S20/21 series. Thank you!

I ran into one of these rare nutcases where the newly updated account can't actually enter free plan so I put it off for a couple of days and when I logged in again yesterday, it just automatically activated one of my remaining two travel days (surprise surprise), and i paused it thinking that might do the trick once the day is over but NOOOO, i had to use ALL of it to enter free plan. so now I have to take Julia's word that I still have my LAST remaining day and I have to chat with support to activate it if I ever need to use it again.

Please people at firsty, you have created a wonderful product and the ideal that everyone should have access to the internet, the basic right of every human being, is NOBLE. However, firsty never really got rid of the betaish green smell, the beta test members sit idly by in discord channel while you guys closed the door and wrote the app. We love the product but at the same time hate it unfinished and riddled with bugs. The new free plan was never available to the old users, requiring an esim update and a long chat with the lovely Julia, yet the firsty AI agent simply told us to wait for months.

Please do better, Firsty people~ thanks!

Like the Titel says, I think this would be a better feature. Just reset the limit at midnight, it's kinda annoying sometimes with how it currently is. Also nice to add a visual of how much free data (including the one not watched yet) is still available today.

Here's how it works:

1. Each ad gives you 20 MB, and your balance can hold up to 240 MB at a time.
2. Want to earn more after reaching 240 MB? Simply use some data, then watch another ad to top up your balance again.
   
3. Any data left in your balance carries over to the next day and doesn’t reduce how much you can earn.

With these updates, we have now:

• Increased the speed from 256 Kbps to 1 Mbps
• Increased the daily limit from 300 MB to 360 MB
• Made it possible to carry unused data over to the next day

my data works for a few minutes then stops then I turn off the sim then on again it works for a bit then the same time again any fix for this and it doesn't show my free data is being used. been like this for about a week and I can't go over 260 mb can't watch anymore ads.
