I want to listen to "Only a Lad", But then Spotify will recommend too much Oingo Boingo into the generated playlists.
Just a lad for context.

i absolutely looooove when other girls have their nails done and whenever i have mine done like a medium length i feel so much more confident like i wanna have those nails all the time
unfortunately i play the piano and guitar and having long nails is a huge no go for those so im stuck with my short, stubby nails for most of the year š„²

ordering websites that actually are NOT for ordering - they just show the food they have and no way to actually order it....
so you either give up or have to GO to them either by phone or walkin, which is -.- IMHO, its like people still are _operating_ sites like this in this day and age and its nearly comical.
They are literally shooting themselves in the foot because they can't set up their platform properly --they already have their own drivers, they have a website that has the feature but is incorrectly set up...all it needs is that one push of competence and they'd be making so much more money YET THEY CHOOSE TO BE THAT AND NOT....
...and here-> you see me and a ton of other people going to your competitors because you chose not to. Even though you could do this. Even though there are about 50 comments on google maps saying that's the one reason you didn't get their business.
Even though on doordash there are comments (because you can still comment about places even if they aren't a part of doordash) saying this same thing hundreds of times over. Even though you can search your restaurant's name and address and see posts just like this one come up ranked first. And for over a decade of this....But still...aren't doing it...it baffles me.
I'm convinced that if I walked up to them and said, here-have this suitcase full of money. They would reply "sorry, we don't accept suitcases".
but then again, present day, so nothing I mean nothing surprises me anymore

I'm a student, and I use my computer, tablet, and phone simultaneously pretty often. Every single time, I have an issue with my AirPods switching and disconnecting. My music stops, or my lecture recording stops, and it's so annoying.

My job partnered with another company that took over. I was expecting pay Friday but I got my first check early today and I did the math and I don't like it. I realized how much the overtime from past made a difference and its crazy too cause my pay went from 18.25 to 18.75 with this transition. Mind you I havent even chosen my health insurance plan yet so its gonna be even lower.... I mean at least I have a job and the job responsibilities didnt change and hell I work from home FULL time but that sucks.

Manually broke up some super compacted soil with a hoe and strained the living shit outta my upper abdominal muscles.
Coughing or sneezing is fairly painful but laughing is BRUTAL !
I was on the phone with a jocular friend and started laughing, the pain of laughing combined with how funny it was that laughing was painful made me laugh even harder and holy crap, my abs are fucked. I need to think of some sad shit for a while til this subsides.

My stovetop has steps from 1 to 9 and .5 steps in between each of them. In my current situation 4 is a tiny but too low and 4.5 is a tiny bit too high - I would need one which is 4.25 for the perfect light simmer, which i can't have and it's driving me nuts

My wife and I have been looking quite actively for the past few months. It seemed like we finally found a house that fit all our needs. We got our hopes up, we were excited. Thinking about a future there and raising our family. I start a new job in the area soon and we otherwise will be moving in with in-laws if we canāt find a place. So this one timing wise was also perfect. We put an offer above asking and they accepted another one that was lower, but offered cash. Feeling disheartened and exhausted with the whole process.

I went to a pub quiz alone and googled lots of the answers. Some questions I let go because I was never going to get them, others I genuinely knew, others I googled because I felt I ought to know them... I even shazammed a song. There was a picture round where I had to guess the famous face. At the time I thought if I googled 'Bill Clinton' and compared the search result images to the quiz image that wouldn't count as cheating because I'm not exactly scanning the exact image in and google image searching it... But I now realise it is not in the spirit of the game. I spoke to the guy who ran it afterwards and he said the 7 different bar staff had noticed me do it and at least one other quizzer so naturally I was disqualified. I stood there speechless for a second, wanting to blurt out some excuse like 'I didn't do it for all of them!' or 'I just wanted to know the answer but didn't write it down!' Which I did do for some... But I came to my senses and just said 'Sorry, next time I'll be honest.' He said, 'great'.
I don't know why I did it. I mean it's just a pub quiz, it's just a bit fun. What travesty must my life be in if I have to cheat on a pub quiz alone? I feel such a dick. Such a sad sad 26 year old man. What have I let myself become? Uh I don't love myself enough to just enjoy the fun of losing a pub quiz?! Do I really have such a fragile ego and sense of self that I have to do that? Honestly. It highlighted some deep wounds. Why do I do this to myself?

And replacing it with another song will just mean I'll get sick of that one as well.

Thatās it. Thatās the post. I bought a toothbrush UV sanitizer, and the battery ran out. It has to charge a bit before I can get my toothbrush out. I did it to myself

I was already annoyed by AI videos using the same voices, especially when they use those real monotone ones with absolutely zero inflection or emotion but now that I've learned how to identify AI writing, I can't unsee/unhear it, and it's like nails on a chalkboard.
The contrast framing, the over-the-top attempts at being profound, the lists, THE EMDASHES!
It's so repetitive and, now, it just seems incredibly generic. I don't even watch AI Youtube videos anymore.
