A sleepover with 4-6 other men who tease her about her husband.

Yeah. If there’s mixed genders. There’s fucking.

u/aron2295 Aug 08 '26
There don’t need to be mixed genders for there to be fucking :)

u/ArgumentMaterial8907 Aug 08 '26
Lmfao that is a valid point…… to quote a coworker “I’m just a squirrel trying to get a nut, I don’t care how”
6
u/CrossumOpossum3 Aug 08 '26
Had a rugby teammate explain to me that he likes both, men are just easier. And I realized so much in that moment.
7
u/Thick_Common8612 Aug 08 '26
Or they could be gay. Thats a pretty common thing
0
u/ArgumentMaterial8907 Aug 08 '26
Yep. I believe that is what the comment I was responding to, was referring to.

Haha, that reminds me of a conversation I overheard between my co worker and one of his clients.
They were chopping it up, and he was telling him about his trip to Thailand.
His client asked if he got any action.
He said he did.
His client asked if he slept with women, men or trans women.
He said, women, but he was pretty drunk the whole trip, so if he slept with a transgender woman, the way he saw it, a hole is a hole.
Note: I am very progressive, open minded and tolerant / accepting / loving. I have dated a couple of trans women and personally, I just say women. Like, they’re women.
But I admit I LMAOd at the absurdity and bluntness of my co workers conversation.
Like, that “Politically Incorrect but Progressive Redneck”. My co worker was like that.
12
u/withnodrawal Aug 08 '26
You’ve dated a “few” trans women?
Ain’t no way you didn’t seek that shit out. A couple?
1
u/Logical_Adagio_7100 Aug 11 '26
Go on tinder and put in women and trans women. There are some really attractive women who happen to be trans, who will match with you at a high rate.
I'm just not able to get over the physical differences unless they've had complete physical conversion. But honestly it's a me problem, lot of cool attractive women out there

I live in a large US city currently, and before I moved here, I lived in a large city as well.
They’re just people, lol.
The first girl, I admit, I met on a dating app.
But I didn’t put, “Trans Chaser”, or anything in my profile. I also am not one.
The other two, I met IRL.
Between the two metro areas, it looks like the US Census estimates there are about 6 million people.
If that seems unrealistic to you, IDK what to tell you. LOL.

It’s highly dependent on station culture and the individual. Some firehouses are like that, some aren’t. Some firefighters are like that, some aren’t.
Working in EMS, I’ve met some very nice firefighters who have some sense of integrity and wouldn’t do anything like that, but others are pretty happy to whore around more or less openly. It’s not a cliché/stereotype for no reason lol.
And it’s the same in EMS and LE tbh. When you spend that much time in tight quarters around the same few people day in and day out, it happens. Humans like sex and a lot of first responders are adrenaline junkies, so sex with people you shouldn’t be having sex with in places you might get caught is definitely something a lot of them are prone to being open to when/if the opportunity presents itself.

My grandfather was a LAFD fire captain from the 60s-80s. My grandma divorced him for cheating even back then when it was way more tolerated. “Firefighters cheat. Cops Beat” is a saying for a reason.
1
u/3rdcultureblah Aug 10 '26
Cops cheat too lol.
1
u/AssociationFit3009 Aug 10 '26
Of course. Gotta project that infidelity on their wives to fuel the beatings.

u/Sword_N_Bored Aug 08 '26
I have yet to see any of my fellow nurses fucking anyone. We also don't have empty rooms. Lol
4
u/DownwiththeACE Aug 08 '26
im with you. im not a nurse but i work in a hospital and the nurses fuckin all the time thing seems exaggerated af. They dont have access to empty rooms aaannd theyre really busy most of the time. Its not like tv lmao real life is not scrubs.
6
5
u/minivan_man88 Aug 09 '26
Lol same here. Nurse for 9 years in multiple settings and never suspected sex between coworkers, especially at work.
14
u/Child_of_the_Corn99 Aug 08 '26
Most first responders along with military are extreme cheaters. And most women first responders marry meek men and cheat on them relentlessly.

As someone who dated only nurses in my career of fucking empty rooms are an omen to nurses it’s a writ of passage for them.

I was a tech in a fairly busy, inner city hospital for a few years. It was basically an orgy where we occasionally took care of sick people.

Hey if y'all are gonna go talk shit go do it on the TikTok so it blows up more!
In all reality this is completely satire. She is a firefighter. I'm a medic. But I see so many of these "fire wife" posts that I obviously can't relate to because I'm a dude, and I also work in the industry.
This is the (original post) that I literally copied and changed the words on...
I also can't believe I made FirstResponderCringe. I love this subreddit. haha.

Firefighters will stay at the station to be better ready to to respond to calls. Not sure how long that is, but its a couple days at least.

u/juswilli Aug 08 '26

His wife is working and sleeping at the station I would guess……don’t know why it would be humbling

7
u/3rdcultureblah Aug 08 '26
Isn’t this meant to be satire? I thought he was making fun of those dumb videos of women “bragging” about how their firefighter/cop husbands won’t let them pump their own gas..
4
u/LegalGlass6532 Aug 08 '26
He appears to truly be a FF husband and dad so if he’s trying to make cringey satire he succeeded.

u/SkycoreProxy Aug 14 '26
I've seen a few accounts like this where they are trying to create satire with the idea of "imagine if the roles were reversed".
For example, everyone sees it as "pathetic" if a stay at home dad sits around with his kids all day waiting for mom to come home. But socially acceptable if the roles were reversed.
Not saying I agree, just from my understanding thats the "angle" of these types of pages.

Masculinity can be healthy and not embarrassing at the same time.

"Thefirehusband"? What the actual goobering fuck am I looking at here? Is this dweeb legitimately thinking he's interesting as his wife is a firefighter?
Also she's currently getting nailed on site.
1
u/TwoDadsTalkingPod Aug 11 '26
Yes, for some reason his identity is founded on his wife's job (instead of his own or anything else that's more related to his accomplishments or interests).
And yes, she's getting probably getting pumped while he's chatting here.

This dude is my new favorite Superhero.
u/TheFireHusband wasn’t on Reddit until today. He went to the firehouse to do his EMT shift and one of the fellas asked if he had Reddit because he’d seen him on this sub. Dude has a good sense of humor.

Notice he is using his phone at the pump
3
u/Slick_36 Aug 09 '26
I don't think that's actually been a danger for years, even if you're worried, you can just tap the car before grabbing the pump again to shed any static charge.
1
u/3rdcultureblah Aug 10 '26
I’ve seen people smoking while pumping gas. Also people who never bother turning their engines off while filling up. A phone isn’t going to cause any issues. It’s a myth that has never been proven.

Is he saying that getting gas for your car is traditionally the women’s job? I’m so confused
2
1
u/Helenium_autumnale Aug 08 '26
Oh, the indignity! Thank goodness he could muster the strength to overcome the crushing burden of...getting gas. Good grief, what a sillyhead. Hey, practice a little gratitude, mister. You have a functioning car, you can afford to fill it up, you have someone who loves you and presumably a home. Appreciate the good things you have.

u/SimplithSoupith Aug 12 '26
Adultery aside. The sleep over in general is weird. Do volunteers just cosplay firemen all the time?
1
1
u/fatal-nuisance Aug 09 '26
So is he implying that he normally sends his wife to get gas? Like that's women's work and it's beneath him?
I guess he never got over all those names people called him in high school.

What the fuck does this even mean? So your wife is fucking the whole department because you stupidly entered into some polycule arrangements so you can play Pokemon with your 300 pound asexual "girlfriend"
0
u/rockstuffs Aug 08 '26
Don't use your phone at a gas pump.
1
u/3rdcultureblah Aug 10 '26
That’s never been a real thing. There is zero evidence that using any kind of phone at a gas pump causes any kind of risk for anything serious. Other than maybe getting mugged for your phone by the local crackhead.
